The Counsellor Featurette

The Counsellor sees the return of Ridley Scott to the director’s chair for the first time since Prometheus.

He has brought together a fantastic cast that is led by Michael Fassbender – their second film together – while Brad Pitt, Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem and Cameron Diaz are all on board.

In this brand new featurette Scott and the cast talk about the characters in the film:

The film tells the story of a lawyer (Fassbender), who finds himself in over his head when he gets involved in drug trafficking.

A Ridley Scott movie is always something to be excited about and it is great to see him return to this character driven crime drama.

The Counsellor is released 15th November.

Prometheus Clip

A Ridley Scott movie is always something to get excited about but when you hear that he is returning to the world of sci-fi then you know that you have a corker on your hands.

And that is exactly what Scott has done with his new movie Prometheus – and while it is a prequel to Alien it is a standalone movie.

This is one of the films that I have been looking forward to for some time and we have a new clip from the film for you to take a look at:

A team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a journey to the darkest corners of the universe.

There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

Prometheus us released 1st June

New Prometheus Trailer

I have to admit that Prometheus is one of the movies that I am most looking forward to this summer, and after seeing some exclusive footage a few weeks ago I am even more excited.

But now the new trailer for the movie has been revealed and, I have to say, it is the best yet.

The movie marks the return to the sci-fi genre for director Ridley Scott in over thirty years and he has assembled a mighty fine cast.

Noomi Rapace leads her first big English speaking movie and she is joined by Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender, Idris Elba and Guy Pearce.

With Prometheus Scott creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe.

Prometheus is released 1st June

Now I don’t know about you but Prometheus is one of the summer movies that I am really looking forward to.

The movie marks the return of not only Ridley Scott to the director’s chair but his return to the world of sci-fi.

And once again he has assembled an impressive cast to explore the secrets of space as Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green & Charlize Theron are all on board.

More Robin Hood Clips

Robin Hood has hit the big screen today, which sees Russell Crowe back in a movie for the first time since State of Play last summer.

He re-teams with his old mucker Ridley Scott for their fifth project together, a re-telling of the well known legend of Robin Hood.

Crowe stars as the legendary figure known by generations as “Robin Hood”, whose exploits have endured in popular mythology and ignited the imagination of those who share his spirit of adventure and righteousness.

In 13th century England, Robin and his band of marauders confront corruption in a local village and lead an uprising against the crown that will forever alter the balance of world power.

And whether thief or hero, one man from humble beginnings will become an eternal symbol of freedom for his people. The untitled Robin Hood adventure chronicles the life of an expert archer, previously interested only in self-preservation, from his service in King Richard’s army against the French.

Upon Richard’s death, Robin travels to Nottingham, a town suffering from the corruption of a despotic sheriff and crippling taxation, where he falls for the spirited widow Lady Marion (Oscar® winner Cate Blanchett), a woman skeptical of the identity and motivations of this crusader from the forest.

Hoping to earn the hand of Maid Marion and salvage the village, Robin assembles a gang whose lethal mercenary skills are matched only by its appetite for life.

Together, they begin preying on the indulgent upper class to correct injustices under the sheriff…

Now having never really been a fans of The Prince of Thieves I must admit really looking forward to this one and Robin Hood could be giving Iron Man 2 a run for it’s money at the top of the box office next week.

Take a look at a couple more clips from the movie:

With their country weakened from decades of war, embattled from the ineffective rule of the new king and vulnerable to insurgencies from within and threats from afar, Robin and his men heed a call to ever greater adventure.

This unlikeliest of heroes and his allies set off to protect their country from slipping into bloody civil war and return glory to England once more.

Robin Hood is released 12th may. Take a look at a cliple of clips from the movie:
