Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides Clips

Johnny Depp returns to the big screen this week as he reprises the role of Captain Jack Sparrow for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

Rob Marshall is in the director’s chair for the first time in the franchise as he takes over from Gore Verbinski.

Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom are out of the picture with Penelope Cruz and Iam McShane being two of the big bew faces added to the cast list.

The movie was released in cinemas yesterday, and I can report that it’s the best Pirates movie since Curse of the Black Pearl – however it doesn’t top the original!

But if you won’t be seeing it until the weekend here are a few clips to wet your appetite.

New Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides Poster

There may be some negativity over the release of a fourth Pirates movie – however I’m looking forward to it as it promises to be more like the first.

Johnny Depp is back as Captain Jack Sparrow but this time aournd it’s Rob Marshall who is behind the camera. As you may expect Geoffrey Rush is back as Barbosa but this time around they are joined by Penelope Cruz and Ian McShane – who is taking on the role of Blackbeard.

Jack Sparrow crosses paths with a woman from his past and he’s not sure if it’s love or if she’s a ruthless con artist who’s using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth.

When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne’s Revenge, the ship of the formidable pirate Blackbeard, Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn’t know who to fear more: Blackbeard or the woman from his past.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is released 20th May. Take a look at the new poster for the movie:

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides Trailer

Now I don’t know about you but I have to admit that I am excited about the prospect of a fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie – you have got to love a bot of Jack Sparrow.

Yes Captain Jack is back as Johnny Depp reprises his most famous role once again for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

This time around it’s Rob Marshall in the director’s chair and Penelop Cruz, Ian McShane and Geoffrey Rush are all on the cast list.

Jack Sparrow and Barbossa embark on a quest to find the elusive fountain of youth, only to discover that Blackbeard and his daughter are after it too.

The movie is set to hit the big screen in May next year and we have the first trailer for you to take a look at.

But filming is underway and Johnny Depp is all set to return as Captain Jack Sparrow.
