The Incredible Burt Wonderstone Trailer

You have got to love a bit of Steve Carell and the funny man is back with his new movie The Incredible Burt Wonderstone.

He takes on the title role in the movie as he plays a magician who has split from his long term stage partner played by Steve Buscemi.

Jim Carrey, Olivia Wilde, Alan Arkin and James Gandolfini are all also on a terrific cast list and this is a comedy that is not to be missed.

And we have the new trailer from the film for you to take a look at:

Don Scardino is in the director’s chair for the film after working on the likes of 2 Broke Girls and 30 Rock in recent years.

Superstar magicians Burt Wonderstone (Steve Carell) and Anton Marvelton (Steve Buscemi) have ruled the Las Vegas strip for years, raking in millions with illusions as big as Burt’s growing ego.

Facing cutthroat competition from guerrilla street magician Steve Gray (Jim Carrey), whose cult following surges with each outrageous stunt, their partnership begins to show cracks as audience numbers dwindle.

But there’s still a chance Burt and Anton can save the act – both onstage and off – if Burt can get back in touch with what made him love magic in the first place.

The Incredible Burt Wonderstone is released 15th March.

Contagion & Crazy Stupid Love Posters

A Steven Soderbergh movie is always something to be excited about and his new movie Contagion promises to be one of his best so far.

As you may expect the movie has brought together a very impressive cast that includes Matt Damon, Kate Winslet. Gwyneth Paltrow, Marion Cotillard and Jude Law.

Contagion follows the rapid progress of a lethal airborne virus that kills within days. As the fast-moving epidemic grows, the worldwide medical community races to find a cure and control the panic that spreads faster than the virus itself.

At the same time, ordinary people struggle to survive in a society coming apart.

Contagion is released 21st October.

From thriller to comedy as Crazt Stupid Love has already found success in America and is released here in the UK next month.

Once again there is another impressive cast on show as Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Julianne Moore, Emma Stone, Marisa Tomei and Kevin Bacon all join forces.

At fortysomething, straight-laced Cal Weaver (Steve Carell) is living the dream – good job, nice house, great kids and marriage to his high school sweetheart.

But when Cal learns that his wife, Emily (Julianne Moore), has cheated on him and wants a divorce, his ‘perfect’ life quickly unravels. Worse, in today’s single world, Cal, who hasn’t dated in decades, stands out as the epitome of un-smooth.

Now spending his free evenings sulking alone at a local bar, the hapless Cal is taken on as wingman and protégé to handsome, thirtysomething player Jacob Palmer (Ryan Gosling).

In an effort to help Cal get over his wife and start living his life, Jacob opens Cal’s eyes to the many options before him: flirty women, manly drinks and a sense of style that can’t be found at Supercuts or The Gap.

Cal and Emily aren’t the only ones looking for love in what might be all the wrong places: Cal’s 13-year-old son, Robbie, is crazy about his 17-year-old babysitter, Jessica, who harbors a crush on Cal.

And despite Cal’s makeover and his many new conquests, the one thing that can’t be made over is his heart, which seems to keep leading him back to where he began.

Crazy Stupid Love is released 23rd September.

Dinner For Schmucks Trailer

Steve Carrell and paul Rudd are two of the most exciting comedy talents that are working in movies at the moment, and they are all set to reunite for their new comedy Dinner For Schmucks.

The comedy Dinner for Schmucks tells the story of Tim (Paul Rudd), an up-and-coming executive who has just received his first invitation to the “dinner for idiots,” a monthly event hosted by his boss that promises bragging rights (and maybe more) to the exec that shows up with the biggest buffoon.

Tim’s fiancée, Julie, finds it distasteful and Tim agrees to skip the dinner, until he bumps into Barry (Steve Carell). an IRS employee who devotes his spare time to building elaborate taxidermy mouse dioramas, and quickly realizes he’s struck idiot gold.

Tim can’t resist, and invites Barry, whose blundering good intentions soon sends Tim’s life into a frenzied downward spiral and a series of comic misadventures, threatening a major business deal, bringing crazy stalker ex-girlfriend, Darla, back into Tim’s life and driving Julie (or so Tim thinks) into the arms of another man.

Dinner For Schmucks is released 3rd September. Take a look at the trailer for the movie:

Despicable Me Trailer

I know that’s only November but we are already looking forward to an October 2010 release.

And that release comes in the form of the animation picture Despicable Me.

In a happy suburban neighbourhood surrounded by white picket fences with flowering rose bushes, sits a black house with a dead lawn.

Unbeknownst to the neighbours, hidden beneath this home is a vast secret hideout. Surrounded by a small army of minions, we discover Gru (Steve Carell), planning the biggest heist in the history of the world. He is going to steal the moon in Universal’s new 3-D CGI feature, Despicable Me.

Gru delights in all things wicked. Armed with his arsenal of shrink rays, freeze rays, and battle-ready vehicles for land and air, he vanquishes all who stand in his way.

Until the day he encounters the immense will of three little orphaned girls who look at him and see something that no one else has ever seen – a potential Dad.
