A rosehip a day could keep the skin damage at bay

Exercise, the weather, pregnancy and weight gain are only some of the factors that play havoc with our skin, but there is now a new weapon in the war against skin damage.

Yes ladies, we’re here to share it with you.

Rosehip Oil is known to be particularly good for the skin, not only moisturising and rejuvenating, but also helping with the recovery of scars and stretch marks.

The reasons behind this are thought to be two-fold:

The oil is found to be particularly rich in essential fatty acids, the building blocks for health skin cells and one of the foundation of the protective layers the skin forms.

Furthermore, Rosehips are also crammed with substances called bioflavonoids. These are found in certain plants and are known to be powerful anti-oxidants that have been shown to protect the body and skin against harmful substances, called oxygen free radicals – the main culprits thought to be responsible for ageing skin.

Now the power of rosehips has been captured in an exciting new range from Phytacol that has been designed specifically to help moisturise and tone skin and improve the appearance of scars and stretch marks.
