2013 looks set to be the year of the sci-fi movie and Oblivion will be kicking off the blockbuster summer.

Oblivion sees Tom Cruise return to the big screen while Joseph Kosinski is in the director’s chair.

This is the first film for the filmmaker since he helmed Tron: Legacy and he has adapted his own comic book for this film.

Cruise is joined by an all star cast as Morgan Freeman, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Olga Kurylenko, Melissa Leo and Andrea Riseborough with appear.

If you haven’t seen the trailer for this yet then you really should check it out as it promises to kick off the summer in fine style.

Jack Harper (Cruise) is one of the last few drone repairmen stationed on Earth. Part of a massive operation to extract vital resources after decades of war with a terrifying threat known as the Scavs, Jacks mission is nearly complete.

Living in and patrolling the breathtaking skies from thousands of feet above, his soaring existence is brought crashing down when he rescues a beautiful stranger from a downed spacecraft.

Her arrival triggers a chain of events that forces him to question everything he knows and puts the fate of humanity in his hands.

Tom Cruise is back on the big screen this April as he kicks of the summer blockbuster season with Oblivion.

The film sees the actor return to the sci-fi genre as he teams up with director Joseph Kosinski for the very first time.

As for Cruise this is another action packed role that comes off the back of Jack Reacher in the new year.

Oblivion is the film that will kick off the blockbuster summer and will mark the return of Tom Cruise to the big screen.

The movie sees the actor team up with director Joseph Koskinski and is set to be one of the science fiction movies not to miss this year.

Oblivion is bask on the comic book by Kosinski and Arvid Nelson and it is Kosinski himself who has adapted the story for the big screen.

He is a very visual filmmaker and this is his first directorial outing since Tron Legacy.

A great cast list has been brought together as Morgan Freeman, Olga Kurylenko, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Andrea Riseborough and Melissa Leo will all star alongside Cruise.

New Jack Reacher Trailer

Tom Cruise returns to the big screen this Christmas as he takes on the title role in Jack Reacher.

The movie is a big screen adaptation of the Lee Child novel and sees Cruise team up with director Christopher McQuarrie.

Cruise is joined on the cast list by Alexander Rhodes, Jai Courtney, Rosamund Pike, Robert Duvall and Richard Jenkins.

Another Tom Cruise Pic From Rock Of Ages

Rock Of Ages is going to blast onto the big screen next week and we are going to see Tom Cruise in a whole different light.

Yes the Oscar nominated actor is set to play rocker Stacee Jaxx and we are going to see him show off his singing skills for the very first time.

This latest image sees him giving a topless performance with a bit of welly – am so looking forward to seeing him belt out some great rock tracks.

The movie is directed by Adam Shankman and it comes five years after the huge success of musical Hairspray.

And big names stars have flocked to show up what they have got from a singing and dancing perspective as Julianne Hough, Alec Baldwin, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Diego Boneta, Malin Akerman, Mary J. Blige, Paul Giamatti, Russell Brand are all set to star.

Rock of Ages tells the story of small town girl Sherrie and city boy Drew, who meet on the Sunset Strip while pursuing their Hollywood dreams.

Rock Of Ages is released 15th June.

Now Rock Of Ages is a movie that I am super looking forward to as I was a huge fan of the fantastic Hairspray.

This time around it’s all about rock as Tom Cruise leads an all star cast that includes Julianne Hough, Diego Boneta, Russell Brand, Malin Akerman and Paul Giamatti.

The trailer is enough to get you dancing in the aisles so I can’t wait to see the entire movie.

But it’s Cruise that everyone is waiting to see as he is set to show off his vocals talents as rocker Stacee Jaxx.

And we have some great new images of the actor, and he has a bit of an Axl Rose looking going on:

Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol is set to be one of the must see movies this Christmas as Tom Cruise returns to the role of Ethan Hunt for the first time since 2006.

And Cruise shows that he is not afraid of the high risk stunts as Ghost Protocol looks set to be the biggest and best Mission: Impossible movie to date.

And he is joined by an all star support cast as Jeremy Renner takes his career up a notch as he appears in the franchise for the first time.

Simon Pegg is back as Benji Dunn while Ving Rhames is also back as Luther Stickell. Other faces to look out for include Paula Patton and Tom Wilkinson.

Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol looks set to be on of the biggest movies this Christmas as it hits the big screen on Boxing Day.

Tom Cruise is back as Ethan Hunt for the fourth film in the franchise and is on a mission to clear his name as well as the agency.

An all star cast line up beside him as Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner and Paula Patton are all along for the ride.

Blamed for the terrorist bombing of the Kremlin, IMF operative Ethan Hunt is disavowed along with the rest of the agency when the President initiates ‘Ghost Protocol’.

Left without any resources or backup, Ethan must find a way to clear his agency’s name and prevent another attack.
