Carnage UK Trailer

When you see Kate Winslet, Jodie Foster, Christoph Waltz and John C Reilly all on the same cast list you know that this is a movie that you have got to see.

And that is exactly the line-up we have got for Roman Polanski’s latest movie Carnage – which has been well received already on the festival circuit.

A showdown between two kids about eleven, in a local playground. Swollen lips, broken teeth…

Now the parents of the ‘victim’ have invited the parents of the ‘bully’ to their apartment to sort it out.

Cordial banter gradually develops a razor-sharp edge as all four parents reveal their laughable contradictions and grotesque prejudices. None of them will escape the ensuing carnage.

Carnage is released 3rd February.

Shame UK Trailer

Michael Fassbender is one of my fave actors at the moment and he has had a super successful year with the likes of Jane Eyre and X-Men: First Class already under his belt.

In the new year he is set to reunite with Steve McQueen for Shame – a movie that has already caused a stir on the festival circuit and is surrounded in Oscar talk.

Fassbender central performance saw him pick up the Best Actor award at the Venice Film Festival – could he be the name that were all talking about during the awards season?

Brandon (Fassbender) is a 30-something man living in New York who is unable to manage his sex life.

After his wayward younger sister (Mulligan) moves into his apartment, Brandon’s world spirals out of control.

Carey Mulligan and James Badge Dale join Fassbender on the cast list on what is set to be one of the early must see movies of 2012.

Shame is released 13th January. Take a look at the UK trailer for the movie:

Everything Must Go UK Trailer

We have waited a while for Everything Must Go but the latest project from funnyman Will Ferrell is finally going to hit UK cinemas.

Directed by Dan Rush and based on a short story by Raymond Carver, Everything Must Go tells the story of Nick Porter (Ferrell) who sells ‘salesmanship’ for a living, but the days of being on top of his game are long gone.

After delivering an inspiring presentation to his sales staff, Nick is summarily fired for falling off the wagon one last time.

He returns home to discover his wife has left him, changed the locks on their suburban home and dumped all his possessions out on the front yard.

Faced with his life imploding, Nick puts it all on the line, or more accurately, on the lawn.

Everything Must Go is released 14th October.
