Alex Reid Takes Off The Wedding Ring. It’s All Over.

Did anyone else secretly hope that Katie Price and Alex Reid would get back together? I mean, as orange as they were, they did make quite a sweet couple – although having to use their collective brain power might have been a bit difficult…

Anyway, Alex has now taken off his wedding ring, just in time to wave his ex off as she jetted off to party at the Oscars this Sunday (no, we don’t know how she got an invitation either).

A source tells The Sun, “Yet again she has jetted off around the world and discarded him like a used tissue. He understands that he needs to take the ring off to move on, which he has done now. He’s in pieces about it.”

Poor Alex, come to my house for pizza night tonight?

Ashley Cole Ditches Wedding Ring “Out Of Respect”

Why on EARTH does Ashley Cole think removing his wedding ring would be a mark of respect to his estranged wife Cheryl? Erm, you cheated on her mate therefore you don’t deserve that little band around your finger.

Apparently the footballer, who is still in The South of France recovering from a poorly knee, has removed his wedding band in the hope of showing Cheryl just how sorry he is, and that he hopes to be able to put it back on in the future.

Whilst we think Ashley’s only hope of getting any joy from that ring would be trading it into Cash Converters and buying himself an X Box with the profits, we wonder if the sight of a ringless Ashley will force Cheryl to take him back?

Cheryl Cole Wears ‘Decoy’ Wedding Ring

Cheryl Cole ditched her wedding ring at the Brit awards, but yesterday she was snapped at Heathrow Airport yesterday wearing a ring on her wedding finger, so we all assumed she hadn’t given up on her marriage just yet.

However, as usual in the world of celebrity, nothing is as simple as that, and it’s since emerged that the rock on her finger was actually a ’decoy’ ring, and not the actual wedding band given to her by Ashley.

Apparently this ‘decoy ring’ (which you can see above) is designed to show that she’s still a married woman, but by not wearing Ashley’s ring, it signals that he’s in big trouble still and will deal with him when se get’s back from her jollys.

Confused? Yes, we are too, and we thought better of Cheryl than using the media to send a message to Ashley, considering it’s a national newspapers expose that’s gotten her into this situation in the first place.

I mean, she could have sent him a MMS (that’s a picture message to you and I) of her ringless finger, we all know how much Ashley loves his picture messaging don’t we?
