Hi All,

OK I don't mean to spark a debate but can any one tell me where I can get monofibre hair extensions from?

Ta,

The best place to go is Antenna in London, they invented hair extensions and they really know what they're about.

im so confused!!!!

some people argue that human hair is the best, some argue monofibre is the best.....i just dont know what to do!!!lol!

monofibre seems the better option and cheaper but alot of the people on here raving about monofibre seem to be PR's :(

my hair is very brittle and dry so it would have to be a method that doesnt wreck hair or cause hair loss. i have a friend who uses human hair glued in, but her natural hair is now terrible and she's always picking chunks of glue out of her head. she does it herself as shes a hairdresser so i dont know if her hair is so bad because shes a bad hairdresser or if its the extensions and glue causing it.

Saying that, monofibre tends to look plasticy according to some people on here and i dont want to look like im wearing a really bad wig!lol!

Help!!!!

I'm certainly a pr for monofibre. It only looks plasticky if it isn't monofibre. Some hairdressers put in other fibres and tell you that it is monofibre,I know,I've suffered that. Then it will get hard, look fake and frizz at the ends and you can't use heat on it.

I don't know about glue,I've never tried it but I have seen pictures of Posh with bald patches which my hairdesser has told me is due to the glue.

The salon I go to is in Oxfordshire...any help?

Thank you everyone, unlike the previous posting I have learnt alot reading these comments and found it very informative. There seems to be so much on the web about extensions but it appears to be over run with tackiness.I've just seen pictures of Coleen with bald patches obviously down to glue.Thank you for warning me!

Get a life Marissa for christ sake!!

Tackiness is the biggest thing on this forum especially when it comes to hair extensions!!

Thats why all the profibre ads are on here plugging it for themselves.

Lets face it who gives a shite about Profibre, its all the PR companies at work again.

Get some human hair in and stop going on about rats tail synthetic. I can just imagine you all sat there with the rats nest on your head now that is funny!!

Hate to say but I do agree with this "ghastly guest" profibre is useless.

So is human hair! Is this guest a hair dresser or a cheap jumped up product company?

Whoever you are you should be thrown out of our industry and off this forum.I apologise on behalf of this rude, ignorant person.Let me assure you clients out there, thank goodness there are few idiots like this within our industry.Only at the very tacky end either ripping off consumers ,or a rip off merchant trying to make a buck out of professional people.IGNORE IT.

Also someone who has no knowledge of hair extensions,so don't listen,in fact you can see not to take any "advice" it's trying to give.

who is this pompous ass? doesn't care about anything except promoting a load of garbage about how jolly wonderful it is to glue in hair. Not only do you need to get a life but I'm sure 'ealth and safety would have concerns about you!
Don't ever have human hair glued in,it's tragic and awful. I have worn extensions for many years now and I'm so happy with my hairdresser and extensions. Yes they are Monofibre...the original and best

I have been going to Antenna on and off for 15 years.Their extension work is beyond belief. Whatever is being said on this forum can only be cheap p.r. or cheap suppliers.

Simon Forbes is an angel...thank goodness for him.

Yet there seem to be others who want to live off his back and rubbish what he has done and pretend they know something.

Without him extensions wouldn't exist and yes he invented the best.Shame he's not out here defending his creation.
