A few posts ago, I told you guys about my strong christian dad. I talked to him about it some more and he said that he would think about it since there wasnt really a good reason for me not to, and that he really couldn't find a reason to say no. My 16th birthday is coming up soon and he said that this might be a present for me.

If he's a strong Christian, follow his Biblical advice, and then, as a side issue, do your ears as well, if your dad lets you.

I like to feel my earrings swinging in my ears. I just enjoy wearing earrings, but I don't know why.

Why do think that there is only one person visiting this whole site that enjoys posting these kind of stories?

I can see the Colonel is a bit obsessed with this McMum character, but what about the rest of you? Did you see that? I asked about the rest of you instead of assuming that it's all one person posting under other guest posts. Learn!

The world is a big place you know.

No Colonel, you don't.

I've been lurking on these boards for years and getting a fair bit of amusement from these stories that are posted. True or not they are in a way quite entertaining for readers like me and obviously for the posters.

About now I feel I should trawl back through this thread and copy and paste some grammatical phrase to give you that 'thrill of the chase'.

As I told you before, this is the internet. There really are a lot of people out here. Just learn to live with it.

Dear Meguest111,
I, as a boy, wear all type of earrings : small drops, hoops, long hook earrings, even pearls in different colors. I must say : long earrings dangle and give a special feeling.
But why not ? If one has holes and like to wear them, one should do so and try at least if it suites.

Before anybody goes on I'm not julie H or any other troll....

I had my ear's pierced when I was 14. I'm now 27 and still wear earrings. At the time of having my ears pierced I wasn't very fashionable in fact a quiet shy teenager scared of what other people would think.

I was down town shopping with my mum looking for a new jacket for me. (My worst nightmare at the time) I didn't like anything as usual and in the end my mum decided on a jacket and I was having it, no arguements. It was a Starter Chicago Bulls jacket, consider to be a bit of a bad boy jacket at the time. Whilst paying for it, three boys walked into the store wearing bulls jackets, all with pierced ears. My mum saw these boys and then turned to me and annouced I'm getting your ears pierced.

Twenty minutes later i'm sat in a chair in claires having my ears pierced. At the time I was extremely annoyed and upset with my mum. But I'm so glad she forced me into all of the above because after a few days of wearing my new jacket and earrings I came to realise to not worry what others think and I actually got lots of good comments on my new look.

So if anybody is thinking about getting ears pierced and is worried what others will say, don't worry just go do it.

why did your mum force you to get your ears pierced?
do you think it is okay for a teen to be made to get his ears pierced like you?
why were you upset with your mum, what was it that caused upset?
what earrings did your mum make you get?
