ODN- thanks for updating. I can't believe you're in your last trimester already!!! It really won't be long now My blood pressure always went low during pregnancy too and being anaemic and constipated were "normal" for me. I fully agree with trying herbs and diet before taking those awful iron tablets ( )
Natalie- good luck with your scan coming up! hope you post an update when you've had it!
Welcome to the new girls!
Ziggy- ???????????
I don't have much to update. Niklas keeps growing and growing. He started sitting on his own last week. I'm still exclusively breastfeeding and plan on not starting solids until he's 8 months old (luckily he has no teeth yet LOL, I may change my mind when the teeth start coming in) We're flying to Canada in two weeks to visit my family for a month so I'm excited about that!! I'm feeling a bit sad right now though as we've had two deaths in the family within the last few days. My hubby's Aunt died without any warning on Sunday and my Uncle died yesterday of cancer. Both were dearly loved by us and we're just feeling sad right now... |

Hello again!!! Seriously....if you are having regular cycles now, it should be out of your system already! Hoorah...get jiggy mid-cycle, start taking folic acid if you are not already, and try to relax! I know it's easier said than done!
Well girls...how are we all?
Nat, how did your scan go? Hope it all went well, and was amazing for you!
Emma, any news on your scan too? Did you find out the sex? Won't be long now before you are getting real kicks, and your other half will be able to feel them too!
Cheryle, I am too so sorry to hear of the deaths in your family, and two so close together at that! Sending you giant Hope that Canada is just what you need! Cannot believe Niklas is so big now, and already doing things on his own!!! Won't be long before he is crawling, and toddling, and a little man! Where does time go?
Just hovering around the house this weekend....it is Mr ODN's 30th b-day, and there is a crowd of is going out for dinner tomorrow night, and for a family BBQ at his folks in Cambridge next weekend. Lots to do, and will spen the rest of the time trying to get the baby's room in some kind of order!!! Have a good weekend, girls, and lotsof r&r and for those ttc! xxx |

Thank you everyone for your kind words and hugs.
Natalie-that's terrific that the scan went so well! I always found it so amazing to see the little life growing in me and moving around (especially in the days when the movement couldn't be felt yet!) Hope you headaches clear up soon! As to the changing due dates, I wouldn't pay much attention to that. I always went from my LMP regardless of what the scan showed. One time I would be farther ahead and another time a bit behind. When it's not a big difference, I don't think it means much. With my third, they moved my due date up by 6 weeks (according to his size) BUT because I'd been in for a scan at 5 weeks and I WAS just barely pregnant then, they KNEW he was just a BIG baby and I was NOT 6 weeks farther along than they thought. Niklas also always measured 2-3 weeks ahead but still came 11 days after my LMP due date!
ODN- have fun celebrating Mr. ODN's 30th!! Wish him a happy birthday from me too!
If anyone's interested in seeing a few video clips or pics of Niklas I just updated our blog with a link to the newest picasa album and a number of little video clips of him. http://www.cherkoandco.blogspot.com/ |

Hey ladies! It's been a while but remember me talking about being jealous because my sister in law was pregnant? Well she had her second son on May 5th by c-section. Since then she has had a LOT of problems. Her gallbladder stopped working so they had to remove that in a second surgery. She went home and kept getting sick and feeling worse so she ended up back in the hospital a third time and she now has a very serious infection in her uterus, bladder and colon. They don't know as of right now where the infection is coming from and to top it all off my brother has been out of the country for work. Things really aren't looking good for her. They are talking about having to give her a hysterectomy if they can't get the infection cleared up.
It's been six years since I've talked to my brother or sister in law because of some stuff they said and did to me and my daughter. It's not that I'm mad at them still I just don't need them in my life. I really am worried about her. She never has been completely healthy and I'm afraid of what my brother will do if left with two young children to take care of. |

Hi Natalie,
I've got my scan on the 18th of June... cant wait! Got to go for another blood test though which Im not looking forward to. Ive never been squeamish I went to blood donors all through uni but the nurse who took my bloods really hurt my arm, I dont bruise easily at all and i was left with a big purple and yellow bruise on my arm!
My partners so excited about the baby, I want to start showing atm I'm just skinny with these huge boobs which he thinks is great but look awful in all of my clothes! xx |

Hi ladies!
I know it's been forever since i've posted.
Nat and Emma - wow, you guys are sooo far along! I wish you both all the best for the rest of your pegnancy.
Well, I got my BFP on June 1st! I was sooo shocked. I am 5 weeks today and have my first scan on the 25th.
