I think that if she opened her legs to an 18 year old or even the producter that it was her choice and she has to deal with it, they should help, but she has no reason to give up the baby. If she does then she IS a bad role model.

I think that giving the child up is a noble idea. However, giving it to her mother who has already made 2 mistakes, is a mistake in itself. There are plenty of people in the world who can't be blessed with their own child that would LOVE this child and give it a better life than mama Spears can ever give it. Sure, money wise, she can give it a lot. But sensewise? Yeah, we see how that's worked out!!

Her life, her baby and her choices are just that... HERS! No matter who her sister is, there are millions of other teenagers pregnant so why is this so different?

if she did not want to take care of a baby then she should have stayed out of the bed.kids do not asked to be broght into this world. so why should they suffer for what there parents do.

i think its a very good idea b/c shes giving it to her mom and thats i a good choise , i agree she did make a mistake and everyone makes them, but a whole bunch of other people do the same thing but the reason everyones take this and making a big deal out of it is b/c shes under the spot light. And about kids thinking its alright to have kids when there young, she dosent play as jamie on t.v. she plays as zoey . its a big difference . poeple need to stay out her life and let her live it b/c lifes to short and you wouldnt want poeple up your but all the time, would u??

jamie is like any other teen she makes mistakes like everybody she should not give up her child because of what people say she need to listen to her heart what it tells her to do whats right she should keep her baby

i think she is doing a REALLY BAD mistake giving up her child to her screwed up mom!! mrs.spears already has 2 messed up daughters why would you want another one?

Jamie Lynn got pregnant not her mom, therefor she needs to deal with the consequences!!! Many other teenagers get pregnant and deal with it, so does she!!!

why doesn't she take the baby? ok... she will enjoy her teenage, and get pregnant again and again..

Okay, so what if she even got pregnant. It happens to thousands of teenagers every year. Why do we have to put even more attention on the Spears'? Why are we making such a big deal about it? Quite a few teenage hollywood starlets are pregnant so why are we picking Jamie Lynn out of all of them? I think people should just leave them alone. Trust me I was never the one to defend Brittney, but I am so sick of seeing them on the news when there is everything else going on in the world.

Also, how is this a sacrifice? A baby sacrifice is actually sacrificing YOURSELF, YOUR TIME, YOUR MONEY, YOUR ENERGY to GIVE to your child. Stupid redneck hick inbred! In fact, rednecks at least take care of their children (usually)
