Getting over my ex girlfriend

I recently broke up with my girlfriend of 2 years. It was probably the worst relationship I have ever been in. We had almost nothing in common and she had a out of control temper.(actually hit me one time). She was extremely jealous and narrow minded. Just a hard person for anyone to get along with. I know that she isnt the one for me but I'm having a really hard time getting over the physical aspect. Any advice on getting over the physical side of a relationship?
