Do many girls have this problem?

I was stuck in traffic for 3 hours with no place to go the other week and as embarrassing as this is to say I totally wet myself and I want to know if other girls have had this happen in any situation.

I was going about 90 minutes away and didn't think much of it when I left the house. about 45 minutes into the drive I hit a major Jam on the motorway. I was stuck there for about 3 hours as 2 trucks had turned over and there was no place to turn around.

Well when I had hit the traffic I had to go some but nothing major. though i can have urges hit me pretty fast some times. Well about an hour into the wait I was starting to feel pretty desperate so I got out of the car to walk around to hold it better. I did look for a place to go but there were people everywhere as no one could move there cars at all. I would of had to basically pee squatting next to someone and there was no way I was willing to show some of the guys my privates as some of them were already making comments because it was obvious at times I had to go. So I finally went back to my car because I could find a place to go. I sat in my car for another 30 mins (felt like hours) and figeted and did everything I could to hold it. I leaked a few times so that my crotch was wet but I was still keeping control. then all of a sudden with my hand holding me as tight as I could I could feel myself losing control slowly and I couldn't stop the flow no matter how hard I tried and I could feel it running out over my hand onto the seat and I couldn't do anything about it as it slowly kept coming out. eventually I gave up and moved my hand and just it flow. I was so embarrassed and put a blanket over my lap the rest of the time and just cried. I haven't ever had an accident like that before. Minor leak from laughing or drinking or something but that was so embarrassing.

Are any lady's out there willing to tell me if they have had a wetting accident and how it happened or at 30 yrs old and I a rarity. I feel alone inthe world right now and just want to know it happens to others.

Oh dont worry about it......you feel worse than anyone else and all the other people stuck in the jam with you and knew you needed to pee will have forgotten about you by now.

Yes I have been in that position....but more thru choice than anything.........if you were wearing a skirt you could have slipped your panties off and walked around peeing.......mind you if you were that desperate it would possibly have shot out of you anyway.

Forget it, move on........its over....... Wink

It doesn't bother me as much any more but I guess i still feel alittle like it doesn't happen to alot of women in there life time. If I had a skirt on my problem would of been solved because i would of taken my panties off in the car and could of gone somewhat discreetly. However I was in a tighter pair of jeans and a shirt that had no chance of covering anything below my Stomach. I would of had to show everyone everything to go outside and I just can't get myself to do that. I can go in the woods or something but not in front of everyone like that.

I've leaked into my panties before. Much easier if you have a skirt on as you can squat and not show too much. Thongs are the worst if u need to go as there so little material to catch those little drips or leaks.

You are not alone. Unfortunately I know all about it, since I am incontinent myself. Since my late childhood/early teens, I have not been able to hold it like you are supposed to and have had to wear protection since then.
My urges come suddenly and I have very little bladder control.

However, it did not take me long to decide to not let it stop me in living my life in any way and today I find my "underwear" to be both practical, comfortable and actually quite sensual. I also found that none of my girlfriends have bothered about it, one even liked it, and it has not stopped me in my day.

That said, I have no problems understanding your desperation when you could not find a private place to let go - it is truly terrible.
Still, Keira has a point - even if you had peed in public, hardly anyone would remember you afterwards since such things happen.

Yes but what could/would of been said by some of the guys that were around there would of really caused me issues for a long time.

A friend of mine asked me to do it intentionally, hoping it produced good feeling, I declined. It is so dehumiliating, so I can understand how you were feeling.

Take some cleenex and a closable box with you in case same situation might happen again.

a friend as in a guy or girl? I always have kleenex but it was the place to go that I didn't have or anything to go in. I have started keeping a big mouth bottle in the car now. And I have practiced using it so I can in an emergency.

seems you are well prepared. I must admit I have nothing like this in my car, except the kleenex, but I never had such a tough situation.
