democracy is not good for all countries...many are best ruled w/ iron fist or sink into anarchy & civil war..look at somalia, zimbabwe, nigeria, iraq, lebanon, pakistan...democracies have corrupt politicians that steal as much as they can...many cultures are not suited to democracy b/c people are happy to obey & dont know what to do w/ freedom & decisions to make...best govt for small & poor countries is ruthless feared dictator....

kinda makes me questions (even more) the war in Iraq. Sometimes they claim to save people and sometimes they dont
What makes him any less accountable than Saddam? His human rights violations are outrageous and his people are going through untold suffering. What? - he doesnt threaten to produce weapons therefore his people can just suffer while we do nothing
i know what you mean .the arguement used to go to war in iraq applies here .fact is - if zimbabwe suddenly found it had loads of oil ,the republicans and gordon brown (+ new labour) would start a war with zimbabwe .
human rights violations saudi arabia are even worse than zimbabwe and iraq .they have no democracy either - they have the saudi royal family .but bush is well good mates with them so ....
it seems that bush + brown wanna start a war with iran .fact is - iran has a democracy and is unbeatable .the allied forces cant even take control of afganistan and iraq ,so they would have no chance against iran .iran is a massive massive country with a much higher population .they are all very patriotic and last time they had a war - it went on for 6 years and every iranian who died was seen as a glorious martyr .their uranium enrichment is probably just for nuclear power ,the same nuclear power new labour talk about .the media will try to scare us into thinking they are a threat but we must remember the last time they did this (with iraq) they were wrong .they were just a small population of ppl with no WMDs whatsoever..and why are we so against them having nukes .america has 10,000 .britain has ~900 .iran has 0
