have you tried charting your ovulation period? It is best to have sex a couple of days on either side of it. How old are you as age can effect how easy it is for you to get pregnant.
You don't say where you are from, but if it has been a year and nothing as happened then you should maybe go to the doctors with your partner to get some tests done and rule out any thing that could be effecting your chances.
Also relax and have fun making love. That is when you are most likely to get with child.

They say you should try for at least a year before worrying.

Personally if I was trying to get pregnant Id try using the persona system. It's a little box with some sticks you pee on several times a month, which charts your menstrual cycle and tells you when you're ovulating (it's designed as a contraceptive, to tell you when NOT to have sex, but it's only 94% reliable, so is better used as an aid to getting pregnant!)

Do it as many times as you can whilst you're ovulating (you can also tell when it's happening as your vaginal discharge will be clear and stretchy like egg white, and there will be more of it, plus you may feel incredibly horny and more attractive to the opposite sex for no reason!)

When he has ejaculated inside you, try elevating your legs for a while, 20 mins or so, to give his sperm the best chance of entering the cervix.

Also, try eating a diet rich in dairy products and folic acid as they're supposed to help. Cutting down on alcohol and quitting smoking are also two of the best things you can do for your fertility and your health as a whole. Get him to wear boxers or loose fitting underwear to let his balls breathe, as tight hot underwear can hinder sperm production slightly.

If you haven't concieved after another 6 months of trying the above advice, it might be a good idea for him to have his sperm checked, see if he has a low sperm count. Then they'd normally check you, but its more invasive.

Hope this helps! Good luck! :)
I'm so F****** fabulous, I piss glitter.
