Of course. I suspect the one person here that's espousing the whole fundamentalist line and views is mental and is most likely a loon.

You're probably right... a loon trying to divert rational discussion about brangie by throwing in inflammatory political-evangelical twaddle.

Bingo. Especially when poor dear Angie is in serious need. They're angry and without a leader. They're scary automatons.

And again, you need to look at today's poll

McCain - 42%
Obama - 49%

The only people who like Palin are FUNDIES, and that's not me. And FF'ers are NOT fundies. We're also PROCHOICE!

So SUCK IT FUNDIES! You're going to LOSE.

WORD!!

Palin is so anti-abortion, she thinks a victim of rape and incest should be forced to carry the embryo resulting from the abuse. SICK.

AND she's against birth control even with married couples.

Do you think that the Downs Syndrome baby is really Bristol Palin's? Because I think it is. I was noticing the way she held that baby. I'm also applauding the Repub Anti, who has been here many times fighting the good fight against these anti-choice people.

Yes, I think there's a high probability that the baby is Bristol's... she was kept home from school for months because of "mono", and I agree that the way she holds th baby is so obviosuly the way a mother holds her child, while Sarah looks on like the adoring grandmother.

I alos appluad the Republican anti, though I do feel that she isn't behaving with unusual independence because the true Republican party IS for individual freedom -- even if they wouldn't personally choose an abortion. The vocal extreme like Palin has coopted the party of Linclon.

I hope true Republicans keep fighting the good fight and get their party back from the neo-cons and relgio-political extremists.

Also didn't Palin not breastfeed the DS child and returned to work within 3 days? Even our leader (cough) Superwoman Saint Jolie took much more time off when she had Baby Jesus The First, er, Shiloh.

That's what is really odd. Your water breaks and you have time to give a speech, get on a 5 hour plus flight back to Alaska and then travel to a hospital?

Do they think we're stupid?

I think that Palin is used to living out in the hinterlands where she gets by with a lot -- she's alos got the "beauty queen" vibe (a.k.a. used to using her sexuality to manipulate), so she probably thought that she could pull that off and people would just think she is "super woman".... just like with her other lies... kind of like Jolie.

THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL SITE

I did not click on whatever the hideous story was. Some of the comments from "fundies" new term, remind me of arguments in the 70's. I am not American, but are these issues still under debate? The world is in peril and the hot topic is women's right to choose. Surely after Bush, this dialogue is not a deal breaker for voters.
Other sites I visit have strictly banned political discussion as it is so contentious. This site bars weird things but lets other trash stay, such as members personal information and attacks on individual posters. The attempt to blame ML and one poster for a post I believe she did not post, is disgraceful. This story was common news in Canada, and many here still believe it. That at least one member here said they were not a troll and stood by their comments is pretty scary.

This site is called "Female First" . It doesn't mean we have to support every woman, but can we not support the posters here, even if they are of a different political view? The witty intelligent women who post here are above this-I would hope. I really worry for my American friends as you have been given too difficult choices from which to choose, when the right choice is so crucial to all of our children's future.

Is there any way we can have political discussion banned from this forum? Sharing views is one thing, the long letter looked interesting and pretty disturbing for a VP to an old guy. The hatred and blaming however is not something I
want in my life and I am sure most here feel the same. I am not even able to post under my registered name, so I doubt I would have much luck asking "the judge" if he is the boss, how to get political posts banned. It did work in other forums-there are plenty of other places these issues are being debated, we don't need them here.

Don't like it? It's quite simple: don't read it.

This is a 'democratic' site in teh sense that all members have equal rights, and there are occasional tangental threads and discussions.

If politcal threads started to dominate the board, your complaint woul dhave rational basis. Hopefully that won't happen, and unless/until it does, please feel free to use your mouse clicks as you prefer.

I wish Lisa Nova would do a parody of Brangelina... maybe we could email her and ask her. :)
