Reports that Angelina Jolie is struggling to cope with her newborn twins continue to emerge, with the latest claiming that her stressed-out state is putting a strain on her relationship with Brad Pitt.

The actress hasn't been seen in public since the birth of Knox and Vivienne in June, amid speculation that looking after the needs of her six-strong brood is beginning to take its toll on her health.

Now a new report in In Touch magazine claims that Angelina has slipped into a depression and is taking out her frustrations on Brad.

Angelina "has been trying to control her emotions" around her kids but "her mood swings have been hard on the entire family," according to their source.

Adds the insider, "She has been staying in bed most of the time, all she does is sleep. She has little energy and has to force herself to remember to eat because she is still breast feeding.

"She cries at the drop of a hat and laughs at inappropriate times.

"Everyone around her is hoping that she will talk to someone about how she is feeling."

And Brad - who attended the Venice Film Festival last month - has reportedly been feeling Angelina's pain."

"Angelina feels that Brad has it easy," says the source.

"He had the kids without the pain of birth, and he can just jet off whenever he feels like it."
