Dunno what to wear

Postby xXx.Lesley.xXx on Sun Mar 13, 2005 10:23 pm

Hi, any help would be brilliant here!

I'm booking my wedding on Wednesday, we only having a small regestry office wedding with about 20 guests. Can't afford anything else!

My only problem is I have no idea what to wear. We don't have much spare cash, but I want a nice outfit.

I am 13 weeks pregnant and hoping to book it for 6-8 weeks time. If we wait till after the babys born I know it will never happen. There will always be something we need to buy so I'd rather do it now.

So I'll need a fairly big size. I've looked in Evans, they have some lovely clothes, but nothing in white. Will it be O.K to wear black to get married in :? :?

Im really stuck for clothes. Any help will be apreciated :D

I think if its a small wedding then its fine to marry in black. At the end of the day you have to feel comfortable yourself.

What u thinking of wearing?

Its black boot-leg trousers, a white shirt and a black jacket. I like it but I am gonna be 20+ weeks pregnant so I'm not sure if i will look terrible or what :? I have about £100 to spend on an outfit but thats all :( And that includes shoes too

H & M have some really great maternity clothes in their bigger stores and they are also renouned for being really reasonably priced.

Also: http://www.bridesnbumps.com/cart/customer/home.php?cat=1 - but you are looking at £400. But take a look for ideas. Have you thought about maybe looking at nightwear <don't laugh>. But, if you could find a nice satin or silk night dress ( maybe in white or pink), then you could dress it up with a shawl or a pretty cardigan. Just an idea.....but I think it could work well!

A smart suit would be nice, with a nice top underneath. Or a summery dress from Etam or Evem a nice cheap formal dress, you can get them places like Debenhams or BHS for £40

Hi

you could go very boho- being that it might be a bit warmer by then you cant really go for a bodice (thats so so done anyway) but go for something that tucks in under the bust and shows off your legs- may seem odd at a wedding but if you wear something very light and layered you can deff get away with it!
