Any "upgrades" or "fixes" post!

I just currently put a newer engine in my car, and did a 5spd swap.. can't wait to drive the dern thing! I also made the car a 2 seater and made a box in the back.. i need to wrap each piece of the boxes in black carpet, and change my current grey carpet to black. i also want to get new seats.

At the current moment I'm saving for a Cold-air-induction system and a new duel-Catback exhaust system. I figure putting them both on at the same time will give me about 45hp Smile

Then you don't know cars too well if you don't think 45hp is obtainable from what I'm doing. Specially since I'm going with a duel-catback system fullout. Intakes, manifolds, pipes, etc. That along with the cold air intake. The CAI itself is only like 6hp (rounded up), but the exhaust is what will kick me up. Go look up any performance exhaust company like Borla, flowmaster, catback, etc and you'll see what it'll do.

your car isnt even turbo, not even a turbo would give you that much hp for a cavvy.. your turboes are like, as big as my fist. if not smaller. i dont mean to start anything but.. not 45.

ROFL!!!! Thats hilarious!!! LMFAOROTF!!!

Dude, seriously, just stop.

I'll find the link for you. There is a turbo kit which on a stock Cavalier, puts the hp from 140 to 230hp, and torque from 150 to 237. Kit includes everything (intercooler, pipes, turbo, etc) and runs about $2300.

oh my bad! i didnt read that.. i thought you were trying to say that just an 'upgraded' intake and cat, or something like that, was going to get you that kind of hp.

OOOOO, lol. Nah, thats for the whole turbo kit. I have friends that can install it as well. Their qualified and what not. So that'll save me on time and install prices at a place. Just coming up with the $2300 is what is the killer, lol
