I caught my son wearing a bikini...

If anyone can help me with this problem, then advice is appreciated!

I came back home from work one day to find my #16-year-old son sitting in the garden wearing his

19-year-old sister's white bikini (it was a hot day). His sister was at university that day

I asked him why he did it, and he said bikinis are more comfortable than swim shorts and he wants to wear them in public from now on. He said he's not a cross-dresser, so it rules that reason out.

What problems has he got? Are his hormones going screwy?? Help me please!

Someone I knew used to go with a transvestite and he actually looked better ( especialy in long skirts ) then she did in women's clothes .

hmmm....this is a little odd....however i would be proud he is open to you about it, shows he trusts you. As for what to do....i have no idea?! This is his personal choice, have you questioned his sexuality?

Erm, the very fact he was wearing a bikini and wants to continue doing so would point to the fact that he IS a cross-dresser.
Best to sit him down and have a chat to him about it, find out how he's feeling. Be as non-judgmental as you can and offer him your support.

It is a little odd but that fact he's not hiding it from you is a good sign.

Maybe he wants a funny tan line to provoke a reaction act school ?
Maybe he has transvestite tendancies but it that age to could just be a
faze that'll change or disapear as quickly as it comes. Don't reinforce
it by making it exciting or forbidden.

Secondly whatever you do buy him some gear of his own. That might
take the excitement of borrowing his sisters things away and I'm sure
she'd be mortified if she found out about it.

Remind him to be careful about what he does in public, there are some
very bad people out there.

He may not want to admit to himself that he is a crossdresser but most boys his age wouldn't be caught dead in a girl's bikini.

I would bet that he is and just hasn't figured out how he feels about it yet and certainly doesn't want to admit it to anyone else. He may be wondering if this means he is gay also. Only a very small percentage of crossdressers are gay.

There are many resources on the web with which he could consult. If he truly is a CDer there isn't much he's going to be able to do to change it. He's just built that way. He probably would be best off accepting it and learning to live with it.

Support from his famliy would be a tremendous help.

I can speak from experience, having lived through this myself.

I would say that he is either doing it for a wind up, or he maybe has somethings that he needs to tell you.

He should also wear the bikini top and tuck his penis to minimize the bulge. Why should men be able to go topless when we have to cover up on top?

I am 15 and was caught wearing my sisters bikini (top and bottoms) cause i like the feeling and it makes me look good. I always wear my sisters bikini when no one is at home, its mostly on the weekends, we have a swiming pool with a tall 7 ft. fence so no one could see me while i was in the backyard wearing the bikini. I was in the garage and didn't hear my parents come home and i was thirsty so i ran into the kitchen and both my parents were there, I turned red as an apple and didn't know what to say, i was told to put back the bikini and goto my room. It was time to eat and we have dinner early on sunday around 4pm my mom calls me downstairs to eat both my parents and my sister was sitting at the dinner table nobody mentioned anything about me wearing the bikini, I finished my meal and was told to go back to my room, I figured it was all cool and forgotten, so now its monday morning my mom wakes me up for breakfast and then I am off to school, and again, nothing was said, I come home after school and my mom is waiting by the front door, so i walk inside and she gives me a kiss and asked me how my day at school was, i say fine, then she tells me to go up to my room there is something on the bed that i want you to wear, I go upstairs and look on my bed and see a lime green two piece bikini, so picked it up, it smelled awful, like rotten cheese, my mom calls me and says do you like it, put it on and come downstairs, so i put the smelly thing on and go downstairs, now both my parents and my sister are sitting on the couch in the living room, they all start to whistle and say look how sexy you are, I did not say a word, I was so embarrassed, i spoke out with a very shy voice and said, why does this bikini smell so bad, my parents reply was, THIS IS YOUR PUNISHMENT, you are no longer allowed to wear cloths in this house, you'll wear bikinis only, there are more bikinis in your closet and they all smell the same way, you are only allowed to wear your school clothes when you goto school thats it, all your other cloths are locked in the basement. The rules are (1) you get home from school goto your room disrobe and put your bikini on (top and bottoms) at all times (2) you do your homework than come downstairs to eat when we call you, and last (3) your only allowed in the backyard when we allow you, otherwise you stay in your room, I stood there with my mouth open for a minute than I pleaded with my parents, i said i was sorry and they didn't want to hear it, they yelled at me and told me to goto my room. damn, now i hate bikinis and this one really smells Sad

That sound very drastic, but hey if it keeps you from wanting to run around in a bikini. Im not aganist gay people, but there your parents, and they're only looking out for you. It's a mean world, and maybe they hope to break you from a phase you're going through.

Just think if someone at school found out, you'd have a hard way to go at such a young age. You'll thank your parents one day. I'm sure they love you dearly, and don't want you to end up getting hurt.
