I rekon Headmasters and male teachers had quite a job back then didn't they lol I can just imagine of of these guys down the pub of an evening moaning about a hard day at work having to smack the bottoms of lots of teenage girls, and his friends all just looking at each other in complete envy lol

I'm not aying they were perverts who did it for sexual reasons but the idea of having a line of girls outside your office all waiting to have their bare bums smacked...well it desn't sound like such hard work does it lol!

However, my dear old Dad, bless his little cotton socks, once used one of my rubber-soled plimsolls on my bot because I'd been suspended for a week for stealing. Wow - did it sting !! Still, I deserved it so no complaints and twenty years on we laugh about it once in a while. I never, ever stole again but I suppose I'd have grown out of it even without getting my bum roasted.

Spanking and caning should be brought back to schools!

I live next to a high school and a group of girls have been sneaking round the side of my shed to hide out when skipping lessons. The language I heard, and the smoking they do is unbelievable. I told them off the ohter day and they left but not before yelling a torrent of abuse. I phoned up the Headmaster and told him of the incident and do you know what these girls got?... a detention!!! In my day they would have their backsides walloped so hard they wouldn't have been able to sit down for the rest of the day!

They get away with absolute murder, bring back corporal punishment I say!

True, but only twenty years ago that certanly was not the case. Tachers disciplined badly behaved boys and girls by taking them to a private room, putting them over their knee and soundly spanking their bare bottoms!

In my school, the spanking was done by slipper. It was flexible so if timed correctly it would be moving faster than hand or cane when it hit your arse, so was quite painful in expert hands!!
