When I was younger for some strange reason my plastic pants was my comforter this went on way past potty training stage and my mom carried on buying them for me, I suppose just to keep me happy.

I am now 16, Im a female, and I have been a bedwetter all my life. I used to wear disposale nappies or pads like tena, but I often leaked on the bed. Just over a year ago whilst still at school I persuaded my mum to buy me some terry nappies & plastic pants, I had heard these were available and did less damage to the envioroment. At first they took some getting used to but I can sleep on my side and not wet anything else but my nappy. I have had a couple of embarrassing incidents whem mum washed them and hung them on the washing line to dry
I do wet a little during the day but kotex nightime sanitary towels take care of that for me.

This may sound weird,

I was browsing the net and found a site that sold Adult size terry towelling nappies !! (bigger and thicker version of the baby product) as well as plastic pants. Wouldn't someone having bladder problems be using tena lady ? Wouldn't you look a baby to your partner if you were wearing a towelling nappy with safety pins with your pj's ?
