I have not tried it with men, so I could of course be wrong, but I would not expect there to be a huge difference as such.
What does affect the taste/smell/scent of pee however, is what you eat, how much and what you drink, whether you take medicines and so on. I do not believe gender affects it much.
But again, having only been with women, I have not scientific basis for my assumption

However there was this one time I was coming home late with a friend, forgot to use the washroom before we left and was really drunk so the inevitable happened ( me needing to squat)
