For me it's a totally different climax to using a battery vibe. I think that's because I kneel astride it, but it will also vibrate VERY hard if you want it to - much harder than any battery vibe. It's also way ahead of any mains powered vibe I've tried.

My partner and I are also looking into the Idea of a Sybian... however, the initial outlay is very steep. we are a young couple, just starting out in life, so cash is not exactly flowing at the moment. However, if it was worth while we would definately think about saving up for one.
