I don't particularly care whether or not it is a fashion.
Its how I am and so long as I am happy going barefoot it matters not one iota to me whether other people do the same or not.

I kind of got my nickname because of the amount of times I've lost or carried my shoes when drunk. Never thought about it in fashion terms though I guess in the late 60's you could argue bare feet were a fashion or antifashion maybe.

im fed up with having to wear uncomfortable shoes and i keep getting blisters especially on the inside near my big toe. :( so i would like some help to know what looks best when barefoot. whats the currrent barefoot fashion?

im 21, 5 ft 4 and slim if that helps. i was thinking about short cropped jeans and ankle bracelet. whats your opinion? should i go barefoot at all?

Barefoot is not a fashion, nor is naked.

I work at a lido (outdoor swimming pool) and whnever we go outside to the pool area we either have to take of our footwear or put on plastic overshoes both of which are a bother so soon after I started I began taking my shoes off as soon as I arrived and going barefoot all day. After a few months I was halfway home ne day when I realised that I was still barefoot. Since then I haven't bothered with shoes at all going to anf from work unless I going straight on somewhere after work where I'll need shoes.

Lucky!

I want a job like that.

I have been following this thread with interest, and was just wondering do a couple of the early posters Julia k s and Zoe still read the thread?
If so are you still going barefoot?

Barefoot - who knows what you've stood on

I'm sorry but I can see the appeal of going barefoot especially after a night on the town but yukk who knows what you are walking on erhhh yakk.

When my feet kill after a night out i've got some of those fold up shoes, I just pop out my bag, they are fab and sooo comfy![img]http://prettypinktoes.co.uk/images/F07-02954_KATE_GOLD[1].jpg[/img][/img]

Andrea, no one wants to prevent you going barefoot. We just want you to know its not what we would prefer.

nope. Why would they? They get aired out without shoes.

Shoes = smelly feet.

Dizzle you are absolutely right!.
Its shoes which create foot odour.
Bare feet get well aired and don't smell.

How time flies. I think it was over a year since I last posted and I'm pleased to see that the forum is still going.
I haven't worn anything on my feet in that time. Although I keep a pair of sandals at work in case I need them I haven't worn them.I havw gone toa couple of formal occassions and worn an ankle length skirt and so far as I am aware no-one has noticed that I was barefoot.
My feet are so used to it by now that I don't have any problems in thw winter although the fact that our winters are milder now obviously helps.

Hi Julia,

It so so good to see you back on the Forum, and that you are still going barefoot.

Like you I have been going barefoot all the time. I have been moved to alarger branch of the travel agentss where I work, in a nearby town, but still go to work, and everywhere else, barefoot. In fact in my new branch a couple of the girls also now go sholess, but not outdoors, and I try to encourage this if they want to.

The only slight worry I have is that I have been summoned to do Jury Service in a few weeks and winder whether it will be OK to go to the court barefoot. What do you think?

As I say it is really good to see you back hear, and I hope you post again soon.

Zoe.

No one answered you. I live in the American west and I am not at the current time because of the dry weather, which requires me to use so much hand cream, and don't want to do the feet maintenance. I do wear leather soled moccasins though, because they fit more like a mitten than a shoe.
