Hello Guys
im 14 and my mam said i could get my belly done but i really want it done but im scared if its painful ? what do they actually use and ive been told if u get it numbed it dosent hurt atall ?

hi i had mine done about a month a ago and its fine !!! it looks really good and i dont regret having it done i had mine done when i was 13 and it still looks good if you want it done and want any advice email me xxx ill be happy to halp you! x

I'm 12 going on to 13 in 15 days and my friend got her's done yesterday and it looks really nice and i've been considering it for some time now but when i saw hers its like i've come a step closer to actually getting one.
i'm really set on geting one but the only think holding me back is the pain!
i mean im kinda a tough girl and i dont mind pain that much it's just that this is in vunrable area so im not so sure.
how long will the pain go on for and can you even feel it at all?
please reply soon i really need to know bacause my mom is cool with it so i might be gettin one in the next few days!

I am suprised they will pierce anyone under 16....I am from Massachusetts and have been to afew piercing places and most have asked for my licence and made a photo copy of it to keep on file...Most placed will pierce anyone 16 with a valid id and a parent present with their id also....

Last summer I got my belly button pierced and I am not going to lie I thought it hurt like hell......The place I went to would only pierce with a captive hoop,which was fine but after afew months I went to a diffrent place and chaged it to a barbell with a gem on the bottom....It lasted 2 weeks and I got a really bad infection due to 2 things, the guy who had pierced me had pierced my belly button to deep and also the belly ring they sold me was silver not stainless steel..........I had to take it out and leave it out for a year,and it healed well and I just got it repierced and so far its alil sore but the salt soakes help............

What are the womens thoughts on guys with a belly button piercing? I am a 35 year old male, married, 3 kids, and think my wifes belly piercing is the sexiest thing ever. I have often wondered what I'd look like with one. Just thought it might spice things up between us. I have no other piercings, and do not want to appear gay or anything. I just thought it might be something we could keep between us. I wouldn't want to show it off in public. I have not talked to her about it as I thought it could be a suprise. Please give me your thoughts.

Unusual. It isn't intrusive like your eyebrows - or there for ever after if you've tatooed your rear.

I think you should wait until you are a little older.
Maybe sweet 16? i'm 17 now, and considering one.
then again, maybe we could wait until 18?
You should keep in mind the scar you'll have afterward.
Plus, with your body changing so much, you'd have to re-do the piercing eventually.
This would be painful on scarred tissue.
Make sure it's something YOU want, not just something to get attention.

Im 13 now but I had mine done when I was 12, had no problems.
I just had to have a parent/guardian present when I had it done.
It didn't hurt and has never been infected im always changing to belly bar!

Thanks for posting that, I've been looking for some new ones. Just ordered a few off there.

And to those of you asking 'does it hurt'? Mine definitely did but it was fairly quick and I've never had a minute's trouble with it.

I just got my belly button pierced yesterday. i felt no pain as i was too focused on my eyebrow cause i just got it done right before he did my belly button. one thing is it's crooked.... just a little bit so make sure the piercer doesn't do it crooked. other than that there was no pain & its not the day after i got it done and it feels like it's been there forever

Okay, i have had my belly done for a few months now and i want to change my belly bar, but cause im so think im scared of how much it will hurt.
Im not over reacting because of my size, when i had it done, the guy who pierced it said i only just managed to have it pierced because i hadnt much skin to pierce.
I have taken it out once and it bled, now im scared to change it.
HELP
