My two eldest boys do and I am related to the aristocracy - so I think your point fails!

hi everyone, im 16 and just had an industrial and both lobes done recently. i think the right age for kids to have their ears done is 12 or 13, calling it a rite of passage into teenhood. i think that they should not be pierced as babies- it should be their decision whether they want their ears done or not-not their parents. What about cartilage and other ear piercings? what does everyone say about those? i think 15 or 16 is about the right age. anyone who wants to comment on my piercings, please do, supportive feedback is nice. thanks.
ps i might be getting a cartilage in my right ear soon, which would give me five. any thoughts on this would also help.thanks again

Actually the best time to pierce any child's ears is between the ages of 3-5 as that way their ears are fully healed & it is done well before they start school.
