The most beautiful women have broad shoulders. To be a model broad shoulders are wanted.

I rather be big and buff than small and insignificant  I have broad shoulders, they are my best asset and I work them hard at the gym. They set off everything else, make my waist look smaller for a start

Well I have the "swimmer's curse" AKA broad shoulders because most swimmers develop very strong deltoids and I've been swimming for 6+ years and am also a lifeguard. In my opinion, broad shoulders are sexy on men and women alike because most of the time the collar bones look strong and on women it gives a classic feel. Broad shouldered women also look great in many clothes and can show off their shoulders with a nice V neck to give an alluring image. So all in all, broad shoulders rock!!

Britney Spears has shoulders like a man and she looks like a dog. So no broad shoulders please. Unless you are a transvestite. Then it is OK.

I have broad shoulders and I hate them. I feel like I look incredibly manly with them. I think smaller shoulders look more feminine.

Its interesting to hear everyone's opinions... I also have broad shoulders, and thought it made me look awkward & unproportional. But it seems to me broad is "in" Yay!!! No miracle cream to shrink them down a size, so y not give in and enjoy them???

Wow, broad-shouldered women= BRUTES?
Ouch! Well, I have broad shoulders, but the rest of me is very feminine. I sure hope I don't look like a brute, lol! Either way, I don't care, because my man loves my shape :D

I think it's a matter of taste; different men are attracted to different types of women. No reason to harp over little things like this.

Christ! Everyone's getting really defensive here - why do broad-shoulder-lovers have to demean weak-shoulder-lovers and vice versa?

It definitely is a matter of opinion; I have broad shoulders, but I also have a curvy butt/boobs and a really tiny waist and everyone tells me I have the perfect hourglass figure...
I know I can't wear certain clothes-types cos they look stupid, but weak-shouldered people would look stupid in the clothes that make me look fantastic.

Also I love that I can always get myself noticed, as in I'm always served first at bars (even when there are absolutely gorgeous (tiny-shouldered) knockouts standing next to me).

Broad shoulders are definitely feminine, and no more so than petite ones. Sometimes I do wish I had a smaller frame - cos petite girls seem to be so cute and loveable; but I'm more than happy with the way I look and no guys have ever minded...

Broad shoulders, narrow shoulders doesnt really matter it depends upon what the person is like.

My partner has broad shoulders but as she is 5'9" tall she would look odd if she didnt.

Finally If someone only likes you for your external appearance then the relationship aint going to last long.

I'm 5'7, Asian, and broad-shouldered. Not what you would call a typical Asian build ('cause all my Asian friends are freaking small and I feel gigantic next to them... being tall and broad-shouldered and all!). I used to hate it a lot. And people who meet me for the first time almost always ask things like "you're an athlete right?" "are u a swimmer?"

But you know what, so what if we have broad shoulders or thin shoulders. Neither one looks better than the other. We can't tell how beautiful a person is just by looking at them. It's all about what's inside.

That's what I believe anyway.

I'm a broad shouldered woman. I used to hate them but know like them when I do a lot of muscle toning as my arms look rippled. Beyond that I just put up with them.

i think the size of your shoulders is just proportional to your height, so for example a really short girl is likely to have small narow shoulders to suit her small height and a taller girl broader shoulders to suit hers. i've noticed that alot of the 'hottest' female models and film stars tend not to be petite, im not sure why this is but they are. i think men don't mind either aslong as they like the face.

I personally find women with broad shoulders attractive. Hovewer, this is a matter of taste. I don't think that a woman is more feminine (I bet non of you could give a clear definition of this) if she has/hasn't got broad shoulders.

The inside is the most important "part" od any person.

I would date both "type" of women, but like I said, broad shoulders look great on women. To me. Not tooooo broad, though.
