hi... ive been sexually active and my period was 2 weeks late but i had my period... and for the last 3 weeks ive been barfing randomly and feeling sick, my doctor said it was just the flu. i am now 2 days before my expected period and i am having dark brownish discharge and im getting worried that i may be pregnant?

Im 17, sexually active and ive been having brown discharge that seems like a period...its been almost 3 months. ive tried scheduling for a gyno app but i cant get anything for another 3 months. Its painful during intercourse, i used to be very sexually active but ever since this started its hurt too much. I've had to throw out 4 pairs of underwear because this comes on and off all the time, its not light, its like a heavy heavy period! i want to see the gyno but nothing's available. ive been worried about this for a long time now, im on the pill, i havent changed it for more than a year, my mom thinks the pill is doing this to me..what do you think?

ive been having brown discharge with a smell for a while.. i am sexually active... i have not had my period in a while (i am under stress and i am only 16 and still irregular anyway)

What types of infections could this be? =/

To Tweety boop... I don't want to alarm you... but I really hope you have gone to gyno. I've done a lot of studying on brown dishcharge because I just started having some. I've come to the conclusion that brown discharge right before your period is normal or right after your period. It's just old blood that can hang around. However, brown discharge all the time is not... and pain during intercourse and a funny colored discharge and any pain are all signs of chlamydia. It's typically called the "silent" infection because there aren't signs of it. However, for many people there are signs and pain during intercourse and discolored discharge and abdominal pain or fever can all be signs. I would strongly suggest you see a doctor. Chlamydia can completely ruin your reproductive organs. Don't worry until you go to the doctor and find out. But I would suggest you go.

well i have been having brown discharge for a couple of weeks now. im not sexually active and i am not on the pill. i rarely have my period...it sort of smells and it wont stop, i have to wear panty liners all day...one time it was red only once though so i thought i was on my period again (i was relieved) but now its brown again...

Last week was supposed to be my period, and i thought i was on it, but it was a wierd brown color, like light brown, and if i had a tampon in it would turn brown after a few hours like normal. but if i took it out all day there wouldnt be any brown on my panties, only when i whiped.

what does this mean?
it only lasted for like 3 days, my normal period is 5 or 6 days. was that my period or did i miss it?

I am having the same symptoms. I started OrthoTrycyline about 3 months ago. I have had unprotected sex two times while on the pill. About 2 weeks ago I forgot to take my pill during the weekend and took all 3 on Sunday. I started to get nasuea and cramps. I also started to have brown discharge about 4 or 5 days later. I just kept taking my pills like normal. I am supposed to start my period this week. I am still having brown discharge and my breasts have gotten sore and I still feel nasueous sometimes. Could I be pregnant or is this because of the pills?

i just had my little girl three months ago after i had that long period i had an infection with a smell it was gross but i went to the dr its gone but then i had my first period period, and now that im done i have a brown discharge is it normal is my body still adjusting to everthing getting back to normal or should i go back to the dr??????

hi, i'm 14 soon to be 15 and i'v had the same symptoms but i've never had sex, not on a pill. the discharge last about 3 to 4 days then stops until the next 1 to 2 months. i'v had it 3 times over 3 months. i think i'm dehighdrated. i'v drank water and it might help to thin the blood? i dont know . willl some one help me. i havnt told anyone.

im 16 and im sexually active. The past 3 days i've been getting this brown discharge which looks like what normally happens right before/after my period. I got my period last month and i had unprotected sex right before it. Are these discharges just normal sincee i had my period like a week and a half ago? or should i be concerned :/?

Okay. im 13 and the same thing is happining to me too.
i havnt started my period yet. but somepeople say its normal. i think if it happens bbefore you have started your period its a sign your going to start. if you have already i think its just your body trying to stop your period and resume back for next month. i went on this site to see if i was the only one it has happend to. clearly not so your not on your own lol


anyway.. i think its completely normal. diffrent bodys do diffrent things. my discarge used to be white. but now its brown...i think its normal
so dont worry about a thing

I'm a 38yr old woman...and yes we still worry about stuff like this!
At the end (and sometimes the beginning) of my period I have a brown discharge that smells like rotten veg!
Is there anything seriously wrong with me???
I've had checks from the doc and they came back with nothing.....any idea's???
Please help.
