You keep repeating the economic reasons ad nauseum, but I don't feel that the entire women's liberation movement was spurned based on a job vacancy that a bunch of men didn't mind women filling. Maybe you don't recall your history well, but women weren't allowed to even work at one point in any field. Women gaining this right to work was stemmed by women and men standing up and saying they do have the right to work, earn a living and gain independence just like any other man has a right to do so.
