To be honest i think its all been taken out of proportion. To be honest i find that i'm always going out of my way for girls and it bugs me in ways but i've always been taught its what a guy should do. But in todays world a lot of woman don't like this... A few years after my firstborn daughter was born, I mentioned to my wife that I would like to raise her to feel she had the option to be a "femme fatale", should she lean that way, regardless of what my LDS (Mormon) religion taught to the contrary. She did not end up becoming one, but a well-rounded, if assertive, woman, who wanted, and essentially got, a husband who, in her words, "worships the ground I walk upon". They are very much in love, have 2-1/2 daughters of their own, and share responsibilities at home.

I also taught her how to shoot, paid for 4 years of Kung Fu training, as well as 6 years of piano (at HER request). And she has a keen interest in "fine blades". She grew up with a feeling of self-worth, at least in part because she knew her parents valued her as a person, regardless of her gender.

My point is if you raise daughters to feel that they truly have a femminist option, and you will still love them as much, they will probably make balanced choices.

The original skinheads weren't interested in politics. There were skinheads of all colour (and occasionally you'll still find a darkskinned skinhead). Politics became an issue when some fascists took the skinhead look, called themselves skinheads, which led the true skinheads (Sham 69 etc) to officially politically distance themselves from these fake skinheads , who the real skinheads actually call BONEheads.
There are skinheads (boneheads !) who are fascists, skinheads who don't care about politics (and are of all races) and skinheads who are leftists (''sharp'').
