car batterie

will a car recharge it self? I went out to roll up my windows yesterday and did not turn the car back off left keys in it today it is dead and my husbend is out of town for 3 days was wondering will it recharge now that it is off or will I have to call someone for a jump

You'll need a jump. The battery will only charge itself while the car is running since the alternator would be running.

Make sure when you try and start it that all electrics are off....radio, lights heater, air conditioning. Never try and start a car with anything left on. Will drain a weak battery. Sounds simple but there are many people who leave switches in the on position when turning the engine off.

And if the battery remains dead, and you need a new one?
Go for a

*Battery type; “Yellowtop”

did i miss something here, or didn't anyone mention the possibility of using a battery charger?
