Change my pill cycle?

Postby Hakakahn on Sun May 18, 2008 11:40 am

I haven't posted on here and hope no one else has posted the same.
I am gettin married next year and would very much like to try to be at my most fertile for the wedding night and honeymoon as we will be trying from then.

But I just worked out that I will be due my period on around the wedding day! Apart from not wanting to be on my period then anyway, and as my most fertile time would be 10-16 days b4 my period, is there a safe way to get my period 2 weeks early by taking my pill a day earlier every month in order to get my period 14 days earlier?
Hope that makes sense?!

the periods you have whilst on the pill are not real periods. To get ready you need to come off the pill and wait for your real periods to come back.

How long can it take, I assume it can vary?
I'm gettin married in May and I'm on dianette for spots. I don't know whether to come off a great while before or not, plus the spots will prob go mental everywhere!
Any advice?
Is there a good site with best advice?

I came off my pill on the first on December in middle of my packet and my period came on the 31st December, I guess it depends on the person, but don't forget it can take a year to conceive so you might not necessarily conceive on your wedding night.
