DVD drive region

Does anyone know a website where i can get an unlock code for my dvd drive as i spend most of my time in canada, but i'm from the uk so most of my dvdd's are region 2 but i've been buying region 1 dvd's over here. This isn't a problem with my dvd player back home as it's been unlocked using a code. I only have my laptop over here for watching dvd's in my hotel room.
