Engagement rings

I thought traditionally, only women wore engagement rings but do men? or it just wedding rings they wear?

I was also confused about men wearing engagement rings for a while but my fiance wanted to wear one. I figure it's kinda up to them since it isn't as traditional. I also don't think it's really fair for only one to wear a ring. It seems as if the man isn't proud of his wife (soon to be wife) if he refuses to wear one.

I think the tradition differs between countries and regions, but it seems the trend is that more and more of us men also want engagement rings (yup, unless he's loaded chances are it will make your ring smaller, but hey, we also want to flash our love).
