The most pluralistic country in the world, the United States, is a secular democracy with a written Constitution that expressly guarantees freedom of speech, freedom of religion and other enumerated civil liberties for all and protects minorities from usurpation by the majority of the aforesaid rights and civil liberties. Absent such usurpation, however, the majority rules. In the United States, registered voters are free to vote for whomever they wish. The vast majority of Americans are Christians. It follows that democratically elected leaders will be Christians commensurate with their majority status. This evidences a properly functioning, secular, constitutional democracy, not fascism.

But in the States, there isn't any "Freedom From Religion"... and that's the whole problem in the world today, everywhere.. as it was in the world thousands of years ago...

In the United States voters are free to vote for one of two or three blank dictator/tyrants who will hold the reigns of a system of mindless romanish style slavery program, which is set and solid in its ways and means, and mess.. sort of like changing bus drivers on a route.. nothing changes but the hungry mouth and the crazy head... Democracy and Religion are Satan's Arse, and Hell's face... better know as: "Demonacracy" and "Religdemon".. being the only two items on this planet that are all the evil we fear so much, and are the basis of all the life-stifling in the human race... War is merely religion's democratic way of acquiring more resources... Mankind has gone insane.. and is hellbent on destroying this planet for money... The whole problem is that mankind can't handle money responsibly, after giving Barter and the reigns of Life to Money... Money, the tool, has turned it around, and is spending the life on this planet faster that Nature can restore and repair... Essentially we are heading straight into our extinction, like "driving 90-miles per hour down a dead-end street"... and now you humes don't have a first clue what's the difference between your things and little holes poked in the ground...

Hello myron, It's good to see you posting again. You are so eloquent with your words. Just to give you a 'heads up,' there is an American-hater in the bunch. Actually, he hates everyone except the atheist. Take care. XO

Hello Zia.

Perchance are you referring to the person with whom I had this pleasant exchange, among others, in the Vanishing England thread?

You seem to be a profoundly spiritual person with an uncanny tolerance for the freedom of conscience of your fellow human beings and a keen sensitivity to their most deeply-held beliefs.

All the best.

Since I am not as eloquent as you, I'll say it this way . . . Does a cat have an ass? :worship: My best to you too.

I dig your sense of humor.

Since you liked that one, I offer up another of my pleasant exchanges with this lovely, complex human being.

That something will be the earth pushing up a new mountain range right in the middle of America... No to worry, she is in process of destroying that which is destroying her...

At least America stopped the Muslim attempt at the second phase of the Inquisition.. but it now seems that the cure is the disease...

I take it you are an American born-again Christian or an ardent admirer of same.

btw, (belated) Happy New Year.

Hate is not a fun party unless Envy and Jealousy can be there.

In my experience, they usually all come to the party together in the same person -- a figurative ménage à trois -- though often they are accompanied by their soulmate Malice.

Well said again. Fortunately, my standards for life are high and I do not have room in my heart or take the time for pity parties of darkness.

I do not understand how you reconcile your avowed atheism with your references to Satan and Hell, which necessarily presume the existence of God and Heaven.

I am also unclear how "[i]n the United States voters are free to vote for one of two or three blank dictator/tyrants" given that "dictators/tyrants" are not freely elected by voters in democratic elections.

I would greatly appreciate if you would kindly clarify.

I doubt I could get a word in past your ego.. so on my better judgment I must pass on your request, and block your handle, to prevent any further evolution attempts on your part to initiate flame wars... "Talk to the hand"... Maybe we could have been friends, but after this little bit of whateveritwas I seriously doubt it...

You reply brings to mind a little kid who punches and kicks his younger brother when their mother is in the other room, screams in feigned pain, and then complains to their mother that his younger brother was punching and kicking him.

Myron, I think you are just a little to educated for him. He's claimed to have blocked a couple of people today. I've seen 3 cry baby threads tonight.

Thanks for the kind words. I feel a bit foolish for bothering to read his posts and composing reasoned replies. I did have an exchange with him months ago, but I forgot all about it. Had I taken a look at his recent exchanges with other members in other threads before wasting my time, I would have quickly remembered why few if any take him seriously. Live and learn.

I appreciated your reply to him. I wanted to read his response to it. He didn't have one. It shows that he is not being genuine.
