Yeah if there was any misunderstanding, you save on petrol by not having to give your so-called "mate" a lift home all the time. I posted that without reading first so the low-IQ guests may have had trouble pmsl

Just enjoy your driving Rossanna, I still do after a couple months after passing. I still take the long routes so I can drive more and offer to go for groceries more often

It may go either way. It is less expensive for me to drive to work than use public transport. However, when travelling to some cities, the cost of toll and parking is high enough to make using public transport less expensive than driving.

Yes jinjin you are write, The problem is that public transport is forever going up and the price of the car is always on the up aswell we can't win because the goverment rule and will milk us for the rest of our lives. But at least with the car we have our independence and freedom one thing the goverment can't take from us, unless were stupid to lose our licence.

I am Rossana's husband I just want to thank Daniellef and all the girls on this forum for giving my wife the suport which helped her pass her driving test.

Hello Simbatabby,

I have been there just like you. Have a read of my posts, They say it all!!
all I can say to you is book another test and just give it your best shot. I thought I was never going to pass, I gave up after 5 tests. 2 years went by and I knew that I realy needed the car so I started having lessons again, another 5 tests went by and this time I done it. You will pass your test when it's your turn. When you book your next test go for a 10.44 slot in the morning this way you are giving people time to drop there kids off in school and rush off to work leaving the roads a little quieter.

Good Luck :D

Reading all these tales of failure makes me wonder about some peoples ability to drive.

How would anyone here feel if they went into hospital to find the doctor who's about to treat them only passed his exams after the tenth attempt?

I sort of agree, if I had only passed my test after the 10th time I dont think I'd be driving regularly on my own. Saying that, many people may just not possess the co-ordination. It takes practice so I'd say get a car of your own and get out in it.

I failed my first attempt but I knew at the time I wasnt ready for it. My instructor thought I was but I knew deep down I needed some more practice before I'd be roadworthy on my own. Sure enough, after the second test which I passed, I feel confident driving on my own.

Saying that, there are people who pass the test but crash their car the next day and write it off. Never fails to annoy me when someone gloats about passing their test first time, writing a car off and having Daddy buy them a new one :x

What you read here are not tales, They are real true storys. Some people are lucky to pass first time and still don't know how to drive, some people however are unlucky they drive the car perfectly but on the day of the test they have a fail for somthing stupid. I know a blonde girl with blue eyes who hit the curb not once but 2 times and still passed her test. You talk about seeing a doctor for treatment, How would you feel to learn that he is a suicide bomber. :?:

I agree, anyone can have an off day especially when in a stressful test, but EIGHT times? That's not an off day, that's inability.

As for suicide bombers, as far as I know, political beliefs are not examined as part of a doctors training.

You sound like one of them smart lucky bimbo's that passed her driving test first time, There are some very good drivers out there only to when it comes to taking the test it go's tits up for stupid little things. I have seen people just like you that have it all on a plate, life is so easy!!!! but don't know how to drive, they hit the curb on there test but still passed because the examiner got his leg over the night before.

You have to think though that if stupid little mistakes are happening in the tests, you shouldnt pass because if some of those stupid little things happened when you were on your own then they could turn into huge mistakes causing arguments. I think they're right to make the test so tough
