I think I might go and clean my car for the first time this evening :)

Maybe just the inside, we have a car vac and some sponges for the dashboard - should be fun!

I have just failed my second test and feel like c***. I went all the way from Southampton to Wales to do an Intensive course hoping I will pass but did not. I have now had a total of 96 lessons not counting the times my partner has taken me out driving at weekends but still have not managed.
I am going to try booking another test tomorrow and arrange lessons with my driving instructor. I have spent over two grand on lessons. I hate driving with all my heart now. I dont believe driving tests are really tests. They are a lottery and yes it does involve skill but luck also plays a very important part. Instructors should be the ones to say if someone is ready to drive safely on their own. I AM SICK OF DRIVING AND I AM ABOUT TO GIVE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dont get too worked up about it or you'll never pass! Failing twice is no big deal nowadays, I know a few who are on their 2rd attempts. The test is harder to make people try harder to be better drivers at least for the test. May I ask what it was that you failed on? I failed mine first time on gear changes and driving too slow on national speed limit roads. Since then I have worked on my gear changes and have gotten a lot more practice on country roads. There are things like that you can work on.

He failed me on my steering, gear changes and not giving enough clearence to other road users. The engine cut off on a hill. But I restarted the car safely. The car did not roll back. Thanks for the words of encouragement. You are very kind. I was told today by my instructor that I got a mean examiner.

Well if you know what you did wrong then at least you can improve for next time. That's the way I see it. I am still at school but it is the easter holidays and this morning I drove my mum around for a bit cos she needed to get stuff done in various towns. I find that its then easier to drive the roads you're used to because you have practiced on unfamiliar roads if that makes sense. Have you got the test rebooked?

I have rebooked it for the 8th of May. Right now all my confidence is gone but I hopefully would have regained it by that time. Its good you are taking your test while still at school. I wish I had taken mine while doing my A'levels. I am just about to finish uni now and I feel I am running out of time as I will have to start work soon and will have no time for lessons.

Yeah, the only thing about doing it at school is that everyone is going on about driving lessons all the time but you have to watch who you speak to about it since the ones not taking lessons hate it if you even so much as mention a car.

I love my friends but some of them arent taking lessons and they think Im a spoilt brat cos I could afford to learn to drive AND buy my own car but the truth is I worked for the money.

Can't wait to pass though, next test is a few days after yours, not saying when I figure thats what jinxed it last time :D

It sounds like you are a very very dangerous person that should not be allowed to drive, as you most likely will kill a lot of people by helping to participate in drive by shootings.

Shame on you!

How an earth does failing a driving test make Daniellef is a dangerous person. Please explain your reason ??

I failed my licence a couple of times before I actually passed and that doesnt make me a dangerous person, its just a hard exam to do which requires alot of work.
It's not WHAT you do it's the WAY that you do it. And THAT'S what gets results !!

It sure is nice when they identify themselves as desperately needing to be bludgeoned on the head with a sledgehammer. Makes eradicating them so much easier!
Chikan, bukakke, paipan,....more badness to come!
