fiat 500

Postby minigirl on Fri Apr 11, 2008 3:20 pm

is this the best small retro car yet? i haven't seen one on the road so far, but it looks like they've arrived here at last....

more character than the new beetle and cuter than the (bmw) mini - the fiat 500. i think i want one....

and when you're on the fiat site, you've got to try out the "fiat 500 incubator" and dream away....

Personally I am not that keen on this current trend for retro cars such as the beetle and the midi (well you cant call it a mini any more can you).

However I saw a couple of these at the weekend and have to say that it is the best of the bunch and genuinely captures some of the look of the original. Some very nice details around the bonnet work particularly well.

I could never see me buying one but could understand someone being attracted to one.

For some professional advice I would suggest emailing the telegraph motoring correspondent Honest John on letters@honestjohn.co.uk I sent him a query last year and he responded very quickly.
