I was merely trying to record my reaction to a statement made by George Bush about the current conflict in Georgia. It's not that I disagree with what he said, in fact I find that, for once, I agree with him. It's just that I think that, in view of his past actions, he has lost whatever credibility he may have had in regard to such situations.

And Myron Myron and ZiaAries were pretty quick to jump and accuse me of attacking the American way of life. Quite to the contrary, I would have said the same thing if Tony Blair or John Howard had said what Bush said. It seems to be Bush saying "do as I say, not as I do".

This is what I've come to expect from myron, Zia, Big Ben and Fredski over the past few weeks.

I don't abuse or insult any of them personally, but just mention Bush, his corrupt regime, bad foreign policy or being in bed with oil and mining companies - and all of a sudden they claim it as a personal insult, and you're placed to the left of Josef Stalin and Karl Marx!

And I'm certainly surprised at a couple of my American friends who have been attacking me over the last couple of weeks. It is deeply insulting of us if we speak up against a corrupt government, but quite okay for us to cop personal abuse from them - solely on the grounds that they're Americans, and can say what they like without censure?

Another relevant thing I've noticed over the years is how often a "pisstake" or "windup" can go right over their heads, without them noticing; and yet at other times a quite innocent remark or action on the part of more 'laid back' peoples - like the Aussies, Kiwis, Scots and Irish - can be inferred as somehow being extremely rude or deeply insulting, when it was never anything of the kind.

Live and learn, I suppose - and just hope you don't lose any friends along the way..

What you have said above is patently false.

You are the probably the fastest person on the forum to resort to name calling and throwing personal insults, leading with those jabs even before those occasional times that you decide to discuss an issue.

Then you feign innocence and you falsely claim you didn't say it.

The times that you don't throw a direct insult, you use innuendo and imply things, so as to indirectly insult people. Don't think your actions go unnoticed.

People here don't say anything derogatory to you until after you have attacked them first, either directly or indirectly. Remember that if you are sensitive to any negativity that may come your way. If it bothers you, then you have the power to stop it - by not starting it.

The Fearless Foursome on here then take it on themselves to claim that such warmongering imperialism is in fact only America acting in its own self defence, and as such is of no concern to any of us foreigners; we have no right to comment on the USA's foreign policies - irregardless of how they affect us - and as Americans are the most supreme beings in the known universe, none of us underlings have any right to protest against any injustices, real or imagined..

Then myron adds the further insults that Aussies and Kiwis are a bunch of arsewipes, only worthy of cleaning up the USA's messes; and then goes on to claim that we should somehow be grateful for such benevolence on their part, as it gives value to our otherwise worthless lives.

The "fearless foursome" is another attempt to engage, better yet antagonize myron, Big Ben, and me, Zia, in silly non-productive posts. Fred is probably the 4th one. Three of us state our views without antagonizing the opposition until it is done to us. I have yet to see Ben guilty of insult (he did insulted me once though ). The other 3 of us have done it. I don't mind other FF members to disagree with me. We all have different perspectives on life and experiences. I take NO pleasure from ill-mannered disruptions from pompous judgmental members that contribute nothing stimulating to thought or debate. The forum is not a (piss-take)* contest to me. I genuinely want to converse with thinking creative productive minds.

Cambridge, As for sounding familiar, I'm not sure about your experiences on FF and I haven't a clue about myon as moderator. I do not have any reason to think that myron would be a moderator .... Bushwalker, You KNOW I did not delete you. There is NO "third party" that would do this, unless it was TheJudge. Member's common sense says... why would he? What happened was... you could not PM me due to me blocking you, and you found the "loop hole" in the system which was, delete me as 'friend' only to re-invite me. By this manipulation, you were then able to send me another PM. I added you back the first time you deleted me because I took you at your word.
There is a saying that goes like this... "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

You overstepped the boundary of my "FemaleFirst friendship" and comfort zone and that didn't come without warning to you. Again, I did NOT delete you and you "say" that you did not delete me. Well, now that makes one of us a liar. Right? WTF, how times change. Just recently Bushwalker, you were zia’s champion and getting all over me for blocking her. Now look what’s going on. Boingo is now zia’s protector and he’s all over you like a cheap suit.

We all need a little perspective about what is going on in these on-again/off-again alliances. AND STOP THE PM CONSPIRACIES! We’ll all get along much better.

(Incidentally, I'm quite proud of my attempts to "right-the-world" after myron has visited. They may be deep, dedicated battles, but at least I'm fighting against dishonor and dishonesty and campaigning for the GOOD!)
