As a redhead myself, I have experienced the 'ginger pubes' thing, and at 16 still get asked by my peers, who think its both funny and harmless. But it is harmful to me,as I have developed a real complex about it, and suffer from real paranoia over it. I have never let a guy see me unshaven as I am desperately worried they will think its disgusting and wrong looking, which many guys do. I am also really worried that the guy will tell their friends - my ex boyfriend was asked if i had ginger pubes. It really upsets me and although I am normally a confident girl, it gets me really down.

For me shave your lips as a must. As for your mound either keep it neatly trimmed to a shape of your choice or loose the lot. Then again why not vary it who says you have to choose one style and stick with it?

Sorry to say that I think your main problem is that you have some complete morons in your social circle! If you try and stick with people with brains, this garbage will never come up. I've never heard anyone saying anything like this. To have ginger hair on your head is not a problem so why should ginger pubes be a problem? OK, you might be a minority, but who cares - it's nice to be different. If I was involved with a girl with ginger pubes, I'd be very grateful that she had not shaved them off. The only thing that would bother me would be to see a sexually mature woman that wants to resemble a little girl.

lmao its really not that difficult tho if you ve one of those hanging labia and basically all over the place vaginas then just be careful where you put the razor but if ya lucky like me and have a neat tucked in vagina then it really isnt difficult!!!

Though i must add i rarely if ever shave now!!! wax or hair remover cream is the best and only way to go for no probs, no itch, and no dreaded rash! Oh and I prob should add that if you have been blessed or cursed lol with hanging lips then thas great............for you lol
