loopy123 wrote:Beware! I had Racoon extensions on the 20/12 & was told they'd last at least 3 months. Within days they'd started to fall out which often happens but they also shed like real hair so my remaining extensions now look really thin & sparse. I'm no stranger to extensions but they're the hardest to maintain. They look really good when done professionally but I'm really disappointed & feel I've wasted £600 as I'm getting them taken out next week. Good luck.

It really depends on the stylists ability to do extensions. If they are new to doing extensions then this can happen. Using the correct shampoos makes a big difference. I have had extensions in since september 2004 although i have had maintenace on them, am having a top up on Friday.
They still look as good as they are done correctly

new hair!

Hi kids, i just got my extensions yesterday and I'm still getting used to them. I got a full head which is really long-down to my bum and they cost £350 in Taylors of Basingstoke. It would have only been 250 if i had used a trainee but I got a professional.

they look great but they will take a few days to get used to. I really want to wash them but i have to wait to get it done properly in the salon!!
they're a bit strange to sleep on but they will probably soften in time.

i cant believe some people pay as much as £600, that seems mad!
good luck with the hair everyone
xx

. wrote:i got cinderella extensions which is very similar. they are very high maintenance and start to come out after a few weeks. would be okay if u go to salon get replacement ones put in and get the other bonds 'tightened'

if u have quite thick or long hair you would only need approx 3/4 head of hair. mine cost £365 for 18'' at a afro carribean salon here.

DONT WASH YOUR HAIR AT A SALON!!!!!!! ITS THE WORST THING YOU CAN DO WITH HAIR EXTENSIONS!!! THE HAIR IS JUST SO LONG THAT IN GETS TANGLED UP IN THE SINK!!!! YOU NEED TO WASH YOUR HAIR IN THE SHOWER REALLY!!!

hair extensions

Hi, I work as a freelance in a few London salons and do extensions by appointments. The hair I'm using is a good quality hair, the bonds are tiny and the results are just fabulous. Since I'm self-employed the prices are very reasonable as well. You can either email or call me to arrange a free consultation. I've been doing it for a few years already so I guarantee quality and provide all necessary aftercare info.
