Hairdresser,
Now now, stop being so fussy. There is no such thing as an extensionist, but i use this term and my customers are very comfortable with it. Its also less space on my advertising than ...'I am a very good hairdresser, who can do hair extensions properly.' as you termed it!
Not all good hairdressers can do extensions, unless they have the relevant training and ability to practice on a regular basis. Some of my customers are colourists and stylists from the top salons in North East, where none of the staff are confident in extensions. Does this not make them a good hairdresser?
With regards to your final comment, yes i have worked in a top salon in Jesmond and also two salons on Northumberland St in Newcastle, one as an asst manager. In all 3 Salons we offered the whole range of hairdressing services, of which i offer all within my business. This is only advertised minimally within my literature, because if you know anything about the industry, there is alot more money to be made from a quality extension service, than other aspects of hairdressing.
Its seems to me, you might be the one pretending to be something else. Or are you just another person jealous of someone elses sucess?

If that comment was directed at me, i never said anywhere you had to be a qualified hairdresser to do extensions, thats far from it. There are lots of people who have no real qualifications or experience of the industry, starting up there own extension businesses. My customers generally appreciate and are reassured at the fact i can offer other services at the same time as fitting extensions, thats why i advertise it.
