Hi,
I just wanted to say I've had great lengths extensions in now for 8weeks now and i love them they gave me a new lice of energy and made me feel great with loads more confidence. Be warned the first couple of night you dont sleep to well, well i didnt it felt like kneedles in my head all night lol. just till you get used to them.
I have always used all the products by great lengths to wash my hair and remember to always anti tap. and brush. Buy the special great lengths brush and brush morning and night. (can hurt a little) You do need to be willing to do the maintenance of them. But worth it. Mine cost me £500. and they come down to my bra strap.
I had mine done at a top salon in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire and they are brill if i ever want to ask anything i just pop in and they help me out.
I would just recommend anyone looking into having extension check out the salon / stylist doing them. Maybe see other peoples if possible and deff check they are qualified to do them.
AND be ready for the work/and time needed that comes with them.

Good look and hope you love them as much as i do. Deff worth every penny if it makes you so much happier.
GREAT LENGTHS ARE BRILL ! :D

I think when people have a bad experience with a particular brand of hair extensions or any hair extensions they have fitted they always blame the hair extensions, sometimes it can be the client that does not know how to look after them.

Anyone who has hair extensions fitted and believes that they are low maintenance then they shouldnt have them fitted as they are not low maintenance.

You should always have a consultation with the hair extensionist and anybody who doesnt do a consultation should be wiped off your list straight away. During the consultation its always wise to ask lots of questions and also the hair extensionist should ask you lots of questions aswell. This way if anything arises from this consultation then a decision can be made to see if you should really be having hair extensions fitted at all. It also gives the client the chance to see if that person is the right one to do there hair.

Hi,

Im a fully qualified hairdresser and im actually a trainer for prostyles ltd, both in their Prohair and Realhair.
Im happy to answer any questions anyone has... i also have info and photos on my website [url]

There are alot of reputable companies out there doing hair extensions, and also alot of dud ones... Racoon used to have a bit of a bad name, but nowadays are loads better.

I always stick with prostyles for both real and synth hair though, as its simply more affordable for the same quality hair. The company are also extremely friendly and helpful, and as a trainer for them, i wouldnt want to work for another company, as i really believe in the product. Especially when people dont have so much money to spare at the moment, its nice to be able to offer something of a high standard for less :)

I have 100 strands of 40cm great lengths extensions in my hair, I want to find out whether anyone knows if £200 is a good price to pay for this?
thanks xx

That sounds really cheap for great lengths unless i have been getting ripped off, i have 100 strands of 30cm great lengths put in at the salon and they charge £400, basically £100 per 25 strands. Can you tell me where/who is doing them for £200 as if i live near them i will go to thm instead! Also are you absolulety sure they are genuine great lengths hair extensions? Believe me i have tried so many trying to "save" money and think i have spent more money trying cheaper methods!! lol XXX
Thanx X
