Hey lady c it's my first time on here so be nice to my defenders! in truth I didn't mean the effort of shaving, bleaching, showering, bathing, powdering, depilating, exercising, deodourising, starving, tanning, and so on, although it's true that that must take some time...

What I meant was...why do young women want to deny their mature bodies? When anorexia first appeared, it didn't take psychologists long to work out what that was about; it was about not assuming your mature bodyweight (and shape) as a woman, because you were insecure as an adolescent, thereby retaining some measure of control over your destiny...I just wonder - isn't shaving your pubes, and deliberately acquiring tiny hips through diet and workouts, part of the same pattern? Do you want to look like a little girl? And if so, why...?

I would NEVER shave clean, I trim my puss a little, but that is it. My husband hates shaved pussies as well, he says they are for pedophiles LOL.

your man is out of touch with reallity. there are about 40 to 50% of the girls out there who shave! there are groups called "smoothies", and both the males and females shave completely, as I said before, it is also mentioned in the bible!
it is just much better, smoother, more feeling, and no hair in your mouth!!!!! haha

I have up and till now only had sex/been with women who are hairy or should I say don't go for the bald look.

Must admit to being a little curious now. Have you always shaved down below ? The face book thing may indeed work but I agree , e-mail would be safer !

lady c I don't quite see why kelli is out of touch with reality, she was making a point about the impulses behind shaving, etc, and it was a very valid point I think, re the links between shaven&anorexic being thought attractive, and paedos. Yes, we know that many women are shaving because of fashion; the interesting question is: why has it become the fashion to shave?
It's not for men - we think fanny is amazing, have done for several thousand years, and doubtless always will - so why now?
It's been my point to say that people's differences are slowly being erased to make megabucks for megacorps, and that's what I find disturbing. It's not to deny personal choice; but quite the opposite, ie that young women feel they don't have a choice; I read one intelligent young woman posting on here who said that if she sees a woman with a natural bush in the showers at her gym it makes her feel a bit sick - how has that situation come about?
