lady c I don't quite see why kelli is out of touch with reality, she was making a point about the impulses behind shaving, etc, and it was a very valid point I think, re the links between shaven&anorexic being thought attractive, and paedos. Yes, we know that many women are shaving because of fashion; the interesting question is: why has it become the fashion to shave?
It's not for men - we think fanny is amazing, have done for several thousand years, and doubtless always will - so why now?
It's been my point to say that people's differences are slowly being erased to make megabucks for megacorps, and that's what I find disturbing. It's not to deny personal choice; but quite the opposite, ie that young women feel they don't have a choice; I read one intelligent young woman posting on here who said that if she sees a woman with a natural bush in the showers at her gym it makes her feel a bit sick - how has that situation come about?

shaven

Postby lady canuck on Thu Sep 18, 2008 8:09 pm

hi matt
I did a search for shaving and found refferences to it going back to the biblical era!
this is not new! I was shaving 40 years ago, not to be "fashionable", but because it was sexy, erotic and when taking nude photos, they did look a lot better shaven, and my man liked it,, and so do i. when an occasional guy got to touch my pussy, it was like he got an electric shock! then he couldn't get enough! he would exclaim, " oh wow, shaved!", it heightens sex considerably, try it you'll like it!!!!!!!
it just was not talked about years ago, now it is commonplace. I am of the opinion that it is a male, sexist idea for a woman not to shave. it is our bodies and we can do what we like, and right now a lot of women like to shave!
by the way, as with underarms, with no hair there is less odour! ladies do not like to smell bad! keep an open mind and forget your preconcieved notions about what YOU LIKE, and let the woman have her way with her own body.
do we tell you your underarms are foul smelling, because they can be. also, if you are uncircumcised, unless you wash a lot you will basically smell to high heaven!
if this hits a nerve, it was meant to, I don't appreciate MEN telling me what I should do. as you can see, I am quite liberated.

:D

Hi lady c, and thanks for your reply.
It's a million miles from my position to say that I don't want women to have a choice. If you re-read what I wrote, that's exactly what I do want- so if you like shaven, then fine. But you can't just say, well, it looks better in nude photos without saying "in my opinion". As you already know, it doesn't do it for me, but so what? My point is that women are being made to feel bad if they don't shave, wax, work out etc, and that as a result, choice is exactly what is being taken away from women. I notice you don't touch upon my point and Kelli's about the, shall we say, young implications of it all.
As to underarm hair, and foreskins, you're either clean, or you're not - the idea that you must shave/get cut to be clean is just absurd...
But think on this - if nude photos are better shaven, then who is it thinking that...oh, that would be those who view nude photos of women, men, in general...who do you think runs media, advertising and the industries that make women feel inadequate over their natural state- oh, that would be men too...and as for the bible stuff (which really doesn't play in Europe, BTW)...oh men again - ever hear of patriarchy?
Matt

shaved

Postby lady canuck on Thu Sep 18, 2008 8:40 pm

hey matt, your a hoot!
just kidding,,,maybe.
I have never in all my life met a woman who felt bad because she did or didn't shave, sounds sexist to me! haha
as for who looks at nude pictures, well I do for one, mostly my own, but I look! when hubby is working on them I look and marvel at the changes I've gone through in 40 years of nude posing, and I still look good.
I have a following of viewers who will agree with me, I send out high res nudes of me, once in awhile to a small list of aqaintances.
as far as foreskin, it may surprise you to know that a lot of men don't pull the skin back to clean it.
if you want samples, send me an email address to

body hair

Body hair is best when removed--from men or women. Now I shave my own simply because it is something of a turn on to pull a razor over my scrotum penis and groin. I also like the smooth fell of my hairless crotch. I thoroughly enjoy cunnilingus and prefer the woman to be bald--hair in my mouth is not a great feeling.

My considered opinion is that all adults who are sexually active should remove their body hair.
