I've not been keeping a record but it would seem that younger women are more likely to shave - but its not a massive difference.

I find your results intriguing Anna as I rarely come across "hairy" these days what with all the health issues about urine and pubic hair. I myself prefer bald as when I'm on diving duty the hair tickles my nose and makes me want to sneeze, which in the circumstances is not a good thing

Do people realelise one thing about this subject?Im thinking the majorty of younger women prefer it shaved and trimmed or none at all.Its all due to the media, books, mags, commercials, movies, ect. ect. This is interesting..... Consider if you check a range of polls (here, MisterPolls etc ) on the net they suggest that 60% of women are totally bare about 20% with a landing strip but our "personal" expericance is saying most are hairy/trimmed.

The other thing is talking to my partner, when men are in the changes rooms (we both swim) the boys all change together as a group chatting but us girls I have noticed each change in the cubicals and communicate little with each other.

What is it with us girls? We're all the same really why are we so shy of changing communally?

Personally, I'm not interested in chatting with other women as I dress. I just want to get dressed and get to whatever else it is I want to do - go home, etc. And as for these women who are checking out the other women figuring out how many are shaved - how many are not - I don't understand that at all. Who cares?
