Im 4'11" and i love the way i am... 'cept for when my friends put their arms on my head.. I tend to wear high heals alot and clothes are really hard to find. I always have to roll up my pants and that ruins them. Girls complaining to be 5'2" i would dream to not have to ask any one to get things down for me but sometimes it is a good thing. Just be happy with the way you are. My husband is more than a foot taller than me and he loves me just the way i am.

im also 4ft 11ins in my friends do the same thing !!! hahaha

I like my height now, Im 28 and I love being small and petite because I can wear lots of heels which taller people cant. I got teased at school but apart from that, ive had a great social life and my height hasnt been a problem!!! - use it to your advantage !

I'm 5 ft. 1/2 inch and whenever people joke about my height (which is pretty much a constant thing at school) it gets me frustrated because I cannot do that much about how tall I am. That's how I am and there's really nothing I can do about it except to except that that's how I am going to be and get on with life. People like to joke about how my boyfriend is about 5'11 and I'm only 5'1/2 because when we're standing beside each other you can notice the big height difference. I have tried to get over it and ignore the comments and jokes about my height because my mom is 4'11 and my twin sister is 4'10 and so I'm just grateful for the height that I am. I can agree though that it IS hard to find clothes. ESPECIALLY jeans that fit around the waist (because of so petite I am) and the length of the legs because of the HEIGHT that I am!!! Every time I buy jeans I either have to hem them up or roll them up, which I hate doing because it looks a little weird and I get a little frustated when most of my friends just wear jeans normally without having to roll them up. Most of my friends are like 5'7 + so it is kind of hard sometimes. But I try to look past it and remember that this is just how I was made to be.

I found this forum trying to find out what height is actually a midget. I am 25 years old and a mother of 3 (pregnant with #4). I am 4'9" and have not grow since the age of about 17. My reasoning I believe would be genetics. My mother is 5'4", her mother 5'2". My father is 5'3" and his mother was 4'11" at her tallest and 4'2" at her death (due to a hump in her back and some shrinking).

I am not sure what size is actual legal midget but I know I have always been off the charts growing up, though I was 7lb 9oz and 19" at birth. I was in a 2T until Kindergarten, a 4T until 1st or 2nd grade.....It is a pain in the rear to find short length pants that actually fit (for those of you looking LEI has a short length that is WONDERFUL and fits me great!! You just have to search the stores for them.)

It is hard being this short, but you learn to live with not being able to reach things. Heck my sons will (hopefully) get a lot taller than I am, my husband is 6'0".

I'm 5'3. When I was younger people teased me because of my height, which made me hate my height. I didn't have no confidence in myself what so ever. I just turned 15 in april month and got my period kinda late, compared to all the others in my class. I was 14 when I got my period.

My doctor told me, since I got my period a little later than the girls in my class - I would be around 5'5. But who knows?

I'm 18 and only 5 feet, I've never really paid attention to how short I am I guess, most of my friends are at least 3 or more inches taller than I am. Sure, I have troubles reaching things and all my pants are to long but oh well. Just be happy and love yourself for who you are.

i'm 4'11 and most ofmy frineds call me a midget which just makes me feel inferior to them most of the time becuase they use it to make fun of me. i am already insecure about myself and my body and this jsut makes it worse. everyone always askes me though, how tall do you have to be to be a midget? well i dont knwo and i dont need to knwo becuase i know that wouldnt change anythign about myself. i always ewar heels even though i'm only 16 so at times i'm not oging to always wear them to school and things. i guess there isnt a way to grow? i dont get much sleep if that helps.

I just make it to 5' and it is no problem at all. The jeans/panyts hing can be a challenge, so that is why I am a short skirts girl...lol!

Hey guys... I am 4'10" and 80lbs... I am TINY!! I am 20 years old and I just love it. I get comments on it all the time, people think it is fascinating. My friends pick me up all the time, I get the BEST hugs, and yes they also put their arms on my head I love being short because I ALWAYS wear heels (upwards of 3.5") and I can always ask other people to get stuff for me at grocery stores and at home, haha.

I have no problem being short. It is part of my unique-ness and I would MUCH rather be short than be in a wheelchair or mentally handicapped which I was supposed to be since I was born at 1lb1oz, almost 3 months premature. In the end--being small is wonderful

Well I am 19 and am just about 5 feet. I have been small all my life and have gotten teased for years...still do! Most of the time I don't care though, but like some of you my friends always ask me whether I am a legal midget. Oh well like someone else said on here... "The best things come in small packages!!" I believe that's true!

i used to be shooort!!! about 5ft 2-3 and i use to hate it cos all my friends were taller and looked older.... then i got my period later than most my age round 13 i think and i am now 5ft 9 at age 22 and i really would love to be shorter!! I would love to be 5ft 6/7 just so i could wear pretty shoes with heels and still be a womans height instead of being taller than most guys in flats and trainers....but hey we can't have it all!!

Dont get me wrong i love being taller than average but there is nothin wrong with being short and there is such a thing as too tall which is what i feel i am sometimes! I get remarks about my height all the time. Most are genuwinely nice but some are just plain ignorant and rude but jealousy comes in all shapes and forms! At the end of the day you are young and healthy and im sure a beautiful girl so enjoy life, wear heels if you must but accept yourself. Life is too short. Ive spent so much time hating my height amongst other things that i missed out so dont make the same mistake. Im still young too im 22, so hopefully can start to make up for it!!

other than that its fun!!

im 17 and have been going to pubs/clubs since i was 15 and never get asked for id
so the height doesnt bother me in that way

AND i fit most of my friends perfectly for hugs!!
