The other day I bought a super duper 28cm frying pan for $105 down from $210! It's a Scanpan, so it should last forever because they're the best of the best! For years I was using those crappy El Cheapo aluminium frying pans from the supermarket. They're cheap, but they warp easily and don't retain heat very well, so they also use more gas to keep them hot. Plus the non-stick coating comes off easily and ends up in my food. -The non-stick coating on cheap pots and pans is usually made from fluoride which is toxic if ingested.
Scanpans can be used with metal utensils and cleaned with a metal scourer if needed, but they clean very easily, so there's no scrubbing needed anyway.

I've just tried sending you a PM. If I put "test" as the subject and "test" as the message, it's fine, but when I changed the subject to a proper PM with a proper heading and pressed "Preview" the message disappeared again!
I've quoted my last post to admin and posted it verbatim in a reply to the thread I started. It's about two weeks since PMing worked for us. :cry:
