Hiya Zia. I have family staying with me at the moment and I'm taking the chance to have a break from the keyboard, which is taking it's toll on my arms. I'm still here though, just resting.

Smile.

What a fool. He needs some R and R. I would call the police on that 'heart-attack about to happen' and have him locked up in jail for a little time to unwind. He could forget about cashing his last paycheck too.

I agree, although sometimes I feel like doing that to my computer. I guess having been the one who put all the effort into building it in the first place helps me to understand most problems I encounter.
Do you remember the old days of these types of crappy computers?

Computers in the 70's?Toots, that long before my time.

I remember big tape recorders and answering machines. I remember 8-tracks.I remember when we use to have to get up to change the channel on the TV. I remember rubbing two sticks together to make fire to cook my food that I had to go out and hunt for. I remember when I had to walk 5 miles to school.

I was lucky, I think I only had to walk about two miles to school.
Do you remember those giant black CDs? I think we called them "Records".![]()
Up until a few years ago, along with my modern TV, I still had an old "portable" colour TV with a handle on the top and channel changing knobs. A clicking one for VHF and a strange rotating one for UHF and there was a button to change between VHF and UHF. I had only kept it because it was the first colour TV my family bought when I was quite young.

Yo Dude...I didn't mean that I wouldn't duplicate for my personal use. I'm just saying that I've been to lazy to do it. There is nothing illegal about transferring from one format to another for personal use in the USA either.
